For what it be worth, matey, I und'rstand where ye be comin' from on this. I do tend te agree with ye. And I know what yer sayin' when ye ask when this became a thread 'bout a-rod and such. It has b'come a bit... how shall I say?... exclusive? We be havin' naught but private conv'rsations amongst a select few, which be makin' it right diff'cult fer someone like meself te get involv'd. Been readin' it all, but thar be nothin' I can add, seein' as I am not part o' the party, nor do I wish te explore the hotness factor o' a-rod and derek.

Many o' our regular crew are bein' left out, not te mention our new pirates (a belat'd hello te loozianalooza00! ). Just somethin' te keep in mind, me friends. If ye wond'r where ev'ryone else has gone, yet might well think on me comments.

anyways i found out some info on "the sea queen of ireland" perhaps not a 'pirate' but you can be the judge....

I have indeed heard o' Grace O'Malley, but must admit that I do not know near so much as I should 'bout her. She be not includ'd in most o' the books I have read, as they be concern'd more with the Caribbean pirates and she be fair well confin'd te Ireland and there'bouts. Seem te recall that she once agreed te stop her piratical ways in return fer favors (per'aps when she met the Queen?) and then went right back te what she'd been doin' all along. Gotta love a woman what sticks with what she's good at!

I been givin' some thot te given all ye a pirate fact, as it has been a fair long time since me last. Could per'aps cull togeth'r a few nasty stories o' Ned Low fer ye. Should be a few things in his story what will curl yer hair. Aye, he were a pirate so mean, cruel and nasty that even I don't care fer him!

I'll try te get that togeth'r fer ye in the next few days. Do be patient, as I feel as tho I have little time te meself anymore.

I do und'rstand that ye do not mean te do anythin' te exclude oth'rs. I am not tryin' te chastise ye, but just te let ye know how it feels te the rest o' us. When yer "talking" ye are havin' conv'rsations that might best be done by phone or IM, if ye und'rstand me meanin'. It's just... when ye go on fer pages and pages o' so-and-so is hot, it can be a bit dauntin' te oth'rs what wish te become involv'd. When our last new pirate attempt'd te become part o' the conv'rsation, ye did little te make 'em feel part o' the proceedin's. Ye did make a few comments, in return te theirs, but did not make effort te engage 'em.

I do not wish te make anyone feel bad, just te say this is how it looks from me own persp'ctive. Ye may have notic'd I be not postin' here so much o' late (or did ye notice?)... that be the reason why. It is not fer lack o' desire, it is fer lack o' opportunity. When the lot o' ye are goin' on fer pages with yer mostly private conv'rsation, it be feelin' quite uncomfort'ble te me te slip in somethin' 'bout what I been up te. 'Specially 'cause I do not know yer friends from school, nor have I any idea what ye be talkin' 'bout half o' the time. The conv'rsation seems te be "in" and I be definitely "out".

omgomg magix i feel like unbelievably bad. you cannot understand how really bad i feel. u really should've said something earlier. we really don't care if you come in and say "i don't like a-rod or dj please let's talk about pirates!!" seriously. i dont mean to be exclusive at all because i know how it feels. we just have 'parties' where we're all on and we talk and i find it hard to start conversation sometimes. that's when i resort to posting a pic and saying derek is soooo hot!! (i do have a case of teenybopper syndrome once and a while!) to be honest, i think we should have a pirate fact and go back to old habits. i think parties are more come-in-and-say-whatever-you-want than just for us. there is really no "in" or "out" in my mind. i think the name for oour club must be a bit misleading--we are all pirates fans, but we talk about a lot more stuff. and from now on i promise not to dedicate my posts to derek and a-rod. i know i tend to be a bit obsessive (yes, i'm admitting it!!) so just give me a slap over the internet and i'll be all better. but i'm here and open to whatever you all want to talk about. so just jump in and post. interrupt me if i'm sitting here ranting and raving (the yanks are losing by the way!!!! arrrrgggghh!!!!!!!) and i really own't care. that's what i love about the group of people on here--you all are honest but gentle. thanks for bringing it up magix. i feel like a terrible captain.

i would start a thread dedicated to just derek and arod but i think it's so much more fun on here. to be perfectly honest with you all. but if you all are really ticked we can move it and start a new thread. or just not talk about it anymore. really. i mean i really want to fix this. i hate it when people feel left out. it makes me feel really bad because i've been in that position before and it's a terrible feeling. it feels almost as bad as knowing that i make someone feel left out and feel almost helpless as to a solution. and magix they really aren't 'personal' conversations. if you think about it we really dont say much of anything at all. the personal stuff comes out usually in IMs or PMs. and if you have no idea what we're talking about (i dont sometimes) just ask or jump in with something interesting you want to say. i always love hearing about your trips aboard the Lady Washington and reading about the piratical tatoo you were planning on getting. it was pretty coincidental because around the time i read that i was talking to my mom about wanting a tatoo. she said not until i'm older and married and dont live with her anymore. than she lectured me on how much it would hurt. anyhow...

same here!! i mean, its not really personal conversations!!! I'm just an average 14y/o who can basically talk about nothing but hot guys!!! Feel free to jump in and talk to us/me/whoever!!! I hoestly never thought I was being rude or excluding anyone. i would never do that intentionally.

and i cant talk to anyone on the phone because thats a lot of long distance to pay, and no im's cuz my dad wont let me load any messengers on his computer.
