DH and I are looking forward to our Dec. 9th trip to our home resort Boardwalk Villa's. We have never stayed at BWV before. We are booked in a 1 BDRM standard view. Are any of these rooms significantly different from one another?

Not really - but I suggest you ask request (via MS) a dedicated 1 bedroom. Those have no connecting door to a studio and thus tend to be a shade larger and quieter. (That said, most of the "noise" in BWV rooms comes from the hallways - the closer to the elevators, the noisier the room, LOL).
