The countdown is on! 10 more weeks till baby....

I can finally say I am down to the last 10 weeks!!! I NEVER thought I would get here! It's been a long 7 1/2 months but worth every minute. I'm starting to get a bit nervous though. Is it going to be difficult going from 1 to 2 kids? Why I'm nervous is beyond me. I take care of kids, out of my home,for a living and have for 12 years! You'd think I'd have no concerns! The kids I watch go home at night though!LOL Just nervous about going back to the baby thing I guess-Ds is 4 1/2 so he is pretty self sufficient at this point(well as much as a 4 yr old can be!LOL). Just part of being pregnant I guess-worrying! Just thought I would share the excitement!

Naaaaa, Kim, the new kid will be self-sufficient in 6 months. Watch a little TV, some Gameboy or Power-Whatever, maybe if hang out on the DIS Teen Board a bit.

Honestly? If you have one, two is more work, but not double. Plus, babies are SOOOO cute.

How exciting!! Good Luck!! I hope you have an uneventful 10 weeks! I went on bedrest w/ 7 weeks to go and then had DS one month early!!

OMG! Wasnt it like last week you were asking us if you could be pregnant? Im sure its been slow for you, but I cant believe you are so close to the end now.
Best of luck for an uneventful 10 weeks, and an easy and safe delivery. Youll be holding that little one before you know it.

Thanks guys! Hoping for an uneventful 10 weeks also! I know it will go by quickly. I bet I'm the ONLY one on the boards that wants summer to be over!LOL
Dan- we need to start a dis infant boards-they grow so quickly now adays!LOL
I'll keep you all posted. You know I had Dh take some pictures of me at 5 months so I could post them and today I finally finished the role of film!!! I think I look a bit different now! I'll try again!! Maybe I will get one posted before the big day.

Wow! I remember when you announced your pregnancy - doesn't seem like that long ago!

DD was born just after DS turned 4...he has never forgiven me for that! Be prepared for your little guy to be a bit put off not being the center of your world anymore. I tried bribing DS to like his new sister by giving him a gift from her because she missed Christmas (she was born in January). It worked...for a while. A couple days after DD came home DS kept asking when we were going to take her back to the hospital.

My kids are 4 & 8 now....and the more I think of it, um, I probably SHOULDN'T be telling you what it's like with two kids!

Ok..I'll go now...

I'm also pregnant with my 2nd and due in 10 weeks. My DS will be close to 5 1/2 when this baby is born. He's excited now but we'll see how it goes after his little sister gets here. Good Luck to you!

I was worried that DS would say that with DD. He is almost 3 (thursday ) and she is 6 months. He will cry if we just joke about bringing her back.
