My parents are headed home this morning...

I have had their 3 dogs plus my 2 for the last 10 days...

I am exhausted chasing dogs around and one of them is an old lady who I have to give meds to a few times per day and clean out her eyes and treat her skin for hot spots...

My parents were going to stay a night in Redding tonight and finish the drive tomorrow but they want to get home so they are going to try and push through all the way today... It's about 15 hours from Disneyland to home...

I gotta go see if they bought me a new purse!!!

They normally take the kids one night during the weekends... They do it like twice a month... I am SO hoping they do it tomorrow night since Terry has weekends off right now and then we would have some alone time...

I love my parents dogs, and they have been pretty good considering they are used to having like 3 acres to run and play on, they have not been away from my parents for this long, and 2 of them are HUGE!!!

It will be very nice getting my calm house back though... my dogs are lazy and take naps a lot... And they sleep in until 10... My parents dogs are up by 5am...

I am having an awesome day!! Terry just got home from work and the weather is gorgeous!!! I had all my house stuff done when he got home so now we are doing some outside stuff... I love it when we get the lawn mowed and weeds pulled... He is washing cars right now, then i am hoping he will spread more weed killer so we can get them all out of my flower bed and yard!!

Terry's parents bought us a fire pit for Christmas but being Oregon, we have not been able to try it out yet, but we are going to do that tonight!!! And BBQ some steaks from Costco... yummy...

Sounds like a wonderful night!! We live in an apartment so no BBQing for us . We get to do that at Bill's parents in Indiana or at the cabin. I can't wait to take a book out on their deck when we are there in June and just chill .

So did you get the Dooney???? We are having beautiful weather here in Philly too!!! It's going up into the mid 70's all weekend. Shame I won't be out enjoying it b/c I stuck doing school work, cleaning and attempting to plan a stinking communion party for Dev man!

We are back from taking the dogs back to my parents... My house is much quieter now!!!

I GOT MY PURSE!!!

I was so excited, the first thing I did was text Adrienne, Reese and Tracy... They all started responding and my parents looked at me really funny...

I love the rainbow zipper... too cute... It even smells amazing!! I have never owned a purse that costs over 20 bucks so this is HUGE for me...

Here is Tailor's haul!!

Alec stayed with my parents to help my Dad take care of their yard work, they have 3 acres so it was needing some attention, but Terry and I took Tailor to feed the ducks!!

She loved feeding the ducks... So we are going to try and get better about taking her to do that...

We stopped by Lowe's after feeding the ducks, and I of course am using my new purse, well we walk down the main aisle and a lady points my purse out to her hubby... Then we go down a side aisle and some kid tries to touch it!!! I wanted to yell out, "RESPECT THE PERIMETER!!!" But I refrained...

We need to take her to feed the ducks more often... Bread is cheap and I normally throw out a bunch that we really could take down there... That is our goal for the spring and sumer, to spend more time at the parks and stuff with the kids!
