Hey, I was triple dog dared, right off the bat!

Besides, it's obviously satire. What are they gonna do, come in and argue that she does? :rotfl2:

Well, I just saw the Greta show on Fox, and they did not deny any of this.
just sayin'

the following synopsis consists of the best lines from Tom Bethel's article in American Spectator.

Barack Obama has been called an elitist. . . elite implies chosen -- but chosen by whom? The people we think of as being elitist usually haven't been chosen by anyone. . . .

I doubt if the New York Times calls anyone elitist -- that would disparage their own allies. In short, elitist may well be nothing more than another name for a liberal. But the trouble ith the L-word is that it tends to stop thought rather than encourage it. What are the key features of the elite today?

. . . Despite Obama's slogan of "change," he belongs to an "established tradition," one that he came to not by birth by "by adoption." Actually, elites like nothing more than a designated outsider to implement their agenda. It seems democratic, and negates the suspicion of heredity rule.

Obama's decision to become a community organizer after Harvard . . . was his key qualifying move. . . . [H]e conformed to the patrician ethos of Columbia and still more of Harvard, the faith that public service is nobler than orking to make a little dough. . . . the public service grad enjoys a special prestige.

The great enemy of the class in which Obama has enlisted is the free market . . . [ my summary here on unless in quotes] The free market can raise people up and down without respect to qualifications and credentials. No connections are needed -- this is the enemy of the elitist class. Money does not equal power -- power equals power
The elite may have money but they don't want you to know this fact. When the elite's privilege is threatened, its survival strategy is to cement an alliance ith those at the bottom of the economic heap. The elite maintain their preeminence by taking the people at the lower economic levels and giving them the benefit of the helping hand. This is where Obama comes in. He promises more state power, more regulation, higher taxes. The working class (mostly Caucasian) will often balk. This is where McCain needs to spell this out to the voters. The elite want to control the masses with their ideals -- e.g., mass transit v. single rider cars.
So, my friends, elitist does not equal money ... elitism means a feeling of superiority based upon their idea that they know what is best for us, that they are better of controlling our future than we are and that the free market economy is a bad idea. The elitist agenda is to control and limit the free market (sounds like socialism/communism to me).

John McCain is not an elitist. You make up your own mind about Obama. ;)

Hhhmmmm....looks like we have another loser criminal association:

I live in Macomb County MI. I've seen it several times already. :lmao: :rotfl2:

::yes:: I just posted on another thread that we should play a game. It's called the 6 degrees of Sarah Palin.

Someone start a thread and we'll see how many posts it takes to get to Palin. :rotfl:

:thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

I have been double and triple dog dared to post something about Palin harming kittens.

My question is, will I get in trouble for doing so?
I can probably find a cute picture of a kitten to post. Perhaps not saying that she does, but that she's never been seen NOT doing it so therefore she must.

But Howard Dean has already cornered that market. :confused3
