Some man called in to our early morning radio talk show- - he said he signed up for a democrat newsletter --he related that in every email he received they pushed their ultimate agenda - to control Congress and the White House so they could push through all legislation with no opposition.
It will be a sad day for America if that happens -- with the scary ones in charge -- Pelosi and Reid

Barack Obama could be on the verge of falling out of contention in Florida.
Despite spending an estimated $8-million on campaign ads in Americas biggest battleground state and putting in place the largest Democratic campaign organization ever in Florida, Obama has lost ground over the summer. Florida has moved from a toss-up state to one that clearly leans toward John McCain, fueling speculation about how much longer the Democratic nominee will continue investing so heavily in the state.
He is farther behind in the state than John Kerry was at this point in 2004, even though McCain began buying Florida TV ads only last week. By this time in 2004, the Bush-Cheney campaign had spent $13-million on Florida TV. In the rolling average of Florida polls compiled by the Web site RealClearPolitics.com, Obama has never taken the lead over McCain in Florida, and the latest average shows him behind by 5 percentage points. They were tied in early August.
Four Florida polls came out this week, with one showing a tied race, the others showing McCain leading by 5 to 8 percentage points.
And Pennsylvania? According to Zogby, Obama is down by five:
Their venom and hatred will lose them this election. Well, that and we have the kickass duo!!
There were countless conservatives seriously considering voting for Libertarian nominee Bob Barr instead of John McCain until McCain chose Palin as his running mate. Ive read several instances where someone was very lukewarm on voting for McCain and were considering Barr, then McCain chose Palin and suddenly Barr became an afterthought.
One could go back and listen to talk and radio show host Glenn Beck speak highly of Barr and come close to saying he would vote for him. That is, until McCain chose Palin. Now Beck said the other day to a McCain advisor, Tell McCain he won my vote by picking Palin.
Further evidence came today in an AP article discussing McCains tax cut proposals.
Elizabeth Kish, an administrative assistant from Gainesville, Fla., said she was put off by McCains record on immigration and was considering voting for Libertarian Party candidate Bob Barr until Palins selection.
Once he chose Palin that was it for me, said Kish, who was wearing a Pro-Life Pro-Palin button and another button featuring pictures of Chief Justice John Roberts and Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito under the slogan, The Kind of Change I Believe In.
So if you consider the Palin pick along with Bob Barrs actions to annoy the majority of Ron Pauls supporters it isnt looking good for Barr. Given these two circumstances Im starting to buy the story from the purist Libertarians who have been saying all along that Barr would not break the historic highest vote total for a Libertarian Presidential candidate.
I have lamented Ron Pauls missed opportunity in recent articles. Now I must admit that Bob Barr seems to have missed a great opportunity of his own.
Hi! I don't post here, and don't really belong here being a life-long Dem, but I do lurk sometimes and thought this group would enjoy this....

Thanks Lara. Come back and visit sometime. We're really not that bad. We almost never tie up our Dem friends and lock them in a closet.Hi! I don't post here, and don't really belong here being a life-long Dem, but I do lurk sometimes and thought this group would enjoy this....
