The Colors of KTTW Cards?

Hi all,

Checked into BLT yesterday and our KTTW cards are yellow instead of blue. The CM actually put the yellow blanks into the key machine specifically. We should have asked him at the time if yellow meant something because none of the CMs we have asked since know.

So, I was just curious if anyone else out there might know?

I had yellow (gold) KTTW cards when we stayed CL at CR. Maybe they just ran out of blue keys?

I've read that gold means VIP so some CMs may notice it, but otherwise it does not have any other perks. Did MS help you with a difficult situation in booking that room (and marked this trip as VIP?)

The other option is they are using up the olg gold keys before they change to RF imbedded X-pass cards or bracelets...

A CM from DVC management made the reservation after issues we experienced last time so that must be it. I saw him take blue keys out of the machine to put the gold in so they did still have blue.

This might also explain why we have been getting turndown service (which is very nice!).

We also had gold keys when we last stayed at AKL Kilimanjaro Club.

We were there New Years with friends who were staying concierge @ the Contemporary. Their cards were also gold.
