Okay so everyone knows that Cinerella 3 is coming out soon. Personally I think with both the 2nd and 3rd films they totally ruined what the movies all about. Its a classis you can't make it any better...

Anyway that's just my opinion...

So does anyone have any movies they would like to see a sequel to? Or a 3rd or 4th etc?

Peace out :hippie:

I'd love to see a Snow White sequel, because I'd love to see what happens. (Duh?) But, a second movie would not be as good as the first. It would probably ruin the entire meaning of Snow White.

I also second the idea of a sequel to Finding Nemo. That movie was a hit. (Not to mention the DVD came out on my birthday. :rolleyes1 ) I think it would be easier for the Disney company to make sequels to movies that are brandy new. You know?

Like, Snow White has been around for 70 years. To make a sequel would be totally unexpected. If Walt Disney wanted a sequel, he would have made it at least 60 years ago. But he didn't. So, it should be just the one movie. Finding Nemo, on the other hand, is still a fairly new movie. There's still time to add to the story.

I think I might have contradicted myself here.

Bottom line: Movies made by Walt Disney (himself, not the company) should not be tampered with.

They shouldn't be making sequels.
The Cinderella 2, was just awful. This one, MIGHT, just might be good, but you can't have sequels to these movies.
Bambi 2, made me want to cry, it was so bad.

When I saw the preview for the 3rd one I was like: Wait, they had a Cinderella 2?

LOL

I actually wouldn't say Finding Nemo is new, it's been out for quite a few years, but newer that Cindy ...

I want to see..

Scream 4..lol...
Back to the Future 4
House of Wax 2 (just becasue)
That one Feddy Kruger movie like 15 (haha)

These movies would all probably ruin the originals but it'd be fun what they came up for them though..lol...

Eh Toy Story 2 was good. I'd love a 3rd of that but it probably won't happen. The Toy Story generation has grown up now... I'd still watch it though :p

Shrek 3 i'm hoping to see. The 2nd Shrek was good.

I agree with ya'll. Finding Nemo 2 would be so cute!

i didnt like the 2nd cinderella, but the 3rd looks interesting- i definently want to see it. but, yes, sequels do ruin it for most movies.

hmmm...
Emporer's New Groove!! wait there's been Kronk's New Groove...
Lilo + Stitch!! oh there's been lilo + stitch 2, Leroy + Stitch and the Stitch movie
how about Lion King? um... Lion King 2 + 3 are out too
Toy Story has had one...
Little Mermaid... has had 2 and now a 3rd one is coming out
Lady & The Tramp :D no wait, there's already been one
Aladdin... has had 2 sequals

nope can't think of any other movies

I'm tired of Disney resurrecting old classics and giving them atrocious sequels!

Pixar has thus far handeled sequels very well, though.

It's not just any sequel, it's the type of sequel you have to take into account. Most of the sequels that are pretty bad are direct to dvd sequels. The good ones are sequels released in Theaters, for example Toy Story 2. The whole direct to dvd sequel thing started in the Eisner era, and it's a huge success economically speaking for Disney.

I actually liked Cinderella 2...

I don't really think that there should be any sequals for the classics. Maybe for the newer ones, but no classics.

the only good sequel was lion king 2.
everything else..was terrible.

I haven't really found a Disney sequal that I like yet. It seems like unless the movie had some major promotion behind it (was released in theaters, etc) they really weren't all that good. I am kind of interested in seeing Cinderella 3, even though I think we can all agree that it wont be as good at the original :P

They tried to do this with Mulan as well. I never watched Mulan 2 though because I know that it would ruin the original.

Can they not just come up with a different idea? Just because a movie does well, doesn't mean that its sequel will bring in lots of money too.
