Ellie May and Jethro will be flying out of Jackson, MS to Orlando next month and I have not flown in at least 12 years. I am on SW and understand about checking in on-line 24 hours ahead of time and printing out the boarding passes. My question is when I get to the airport since I have already checked in, where do I take my luggage? Do I wait in the ticket line?

Either go to a skycap or the check in line to check baggage....

Would it be rude for me to ask what you paid. I am making the same flight in October. I will need 4 tickets and I am trying to find out what I am looking at price wise. Thanks!

I don't know about Jackson, but at most airports you will find self-service kiosks for SW. You go to the kiosk, type in your name and reservation number, then tell it how many bags you have to check.

There will be a people behind the counter who will print out routing-strips for your bags and tell you what to do with them.

Note that as you are checking in to the kiosk, you are given the option to reprint your boarding passes. This allows you to check-in at the 24-hour mark, even if you can't print your passes. We do this for the trip home - my Dad checks me in at the 24-hour mark and I just print the passes at the airport.
