So, the husband and I went to Disneyland for the first time ever on November 5th of this year and had such a great time, we're definitely going back on a yearly basis.

My question is, we were there on the day of the Christmas Parade and that was a bit annoying. Is it always the first weekend of November or do they move that around every year? Yes, I am already thinking of when we will be going next year!

I think its usually that weekend. But with Halloween on a Tuesday next year I'm not sure if they'll have enough time to get enough Christmas stuff up by the weekend.

In 2010, it was the Sunday before Veterans Day. That week was a fabulous time to be in DL... no crowds, weather was fine, Christmas decorations popping up each morning. Main Street and castle area were completing nuts on Sunday, parade taping day. So we went to Pirates, Adventureland, etc. and loved every minute of it!

Okay, so it seems like that weekend is probably typical. I didn't have a problem with it, but NEVER got as close to the castle as I liked because it was all blocked off in the front area around the Partners statue. I barely got a picture of Mickey and Walt!
