This is our Christmas before WDW and I have been thinking of a cute way to scrapbook it. Especially since Santa is bringing lots of things for our trip. So here is the "Disneyized" version of the Night before Christmas.

The Christmas Before Disney

'Twas the Christmas before Disney, when all through the house
everyone was stirring, talking about the mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
in hopes that Disney Characters would be in there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
while visions of Mickey danced in their heads.
And Mama in her princess pajamas and I in my goofy cap,
were discussing the pro’s and con’s of a daily Disney World nap.

When out on the roof there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
tore open the shutter, and threw up the sash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
gave the lustre of Disney Magic to objects below,
when, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
but a miniature sleigh and Bambi—no wait—it was eight tiny reindeer.

With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
At first I thought it was Walt, but it was St. Nick.
More rapid than fairies, his coursers they came,
and he whistled and shouted and called them by name:

"Now Mickey! Now Minnie!
Now, Donald and Daisy!
On, Pluto! On, Woody!
On, Lightyear and Jessie!
To the top of the porch!
To the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away!
Dash away all!"

As fast as the disser’s waiting at ribbon drop did they fly,
when they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky
so up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
with the sleigh full Disney toys, and St. Nicholas too.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
the prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head and was turning around,
down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound.

He was dressed just like Christmas Mickey, from his ears to his foot,
and his clothes were all sparkly with pixie dust not soot.
He had a bundle of toys with towel animals on top;
He looked like a Cast Member opening a souvenir shop.

His eyes--how they twinkled! His dimples, how merry!
His cheeks were like Belle’s rose, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
and the beard on his chin was as white as the snow.

In his teeth, was Abu, Aladdin’s Monkey
and pinned to his hat was a mouse named Mickey.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
that shook when he laughed, like a bowl full of jelly.

He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
and I laughed when I saw him, “he looks like Smee,” I thought to myself.
A wink of his eye and a flash of lime green,
St. Nick was a disser it would seem.

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
and filled all the stockings with Disney, then turned with a jerk.
Sprinkling some pixie dust,
the chimney he went up.

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, 'ere he drove out of sight,
"Have Happy Christmas now, and soon you’ll get a castle kiss good night!"

That's GREAT! I stink at poetry.... I'm very impressed. Merry Christmas!......P
