My tip for getting the cheapest deals is to make friends with your local travel agents.
I priced up everything separately booking online to get the best prices, then took my best price to a few travel agents. Some couldn't do anything, but 2 said they would match it, and then one of those came back to me with a better offer, which I booked. That was a saving of around £600 compared to booking the same package online.
The same agent could offer me some incredible prices for dates either side of the ones we had chosen, so if you are flexible on your dates, you could end up with even more of a bargain.

How true!! as a travel agent I can confirm I hunt high and low for my favourite clients and price match/price beat all over the place - have been known to not make anything on one part of the booking if it means getting another part!!

I'm not from the UK . I think that since you do not have any drivers in your party you should only consider staying at a Disney resort. Many of the off-site hotels that British tourists end up with as part of a Holiday Package are total dumps with spotty transportation. If you book at a Disney resort you will receive free transportation from/to the airport to your resort plus free and reliable transportation to the parks. If you wish to visit other attractions like Universal you can either move to a hotel near there or just take a cab. It shouldn't be too bad split between 3 people. A lot of people just have no concept of how BIG WDW is or how spread out the tourist areas of Orlando really are.

The cheapest Disney resorts are the Value Resorts (the All Stars and Pop Century).

Becks - just to say a lot of UK visitors stay offsite with no car and manage just fine. Only book the WDW onsite hotel if you want to anyway
