if there was just the bride and groom at the wedding ... no guests ... no big party .... just....
1. ceremony
2. photography
3. MKphotoshoot
4. dessert part for two aboard one of th boats outside the MK

what would the cheapest way you could ever do it?

5. flowers
6. cake

also, do you think disney would do a last minute wedding.... such as a few months out, not 9 months

An escape wedding (prices start at $4750) is the way to go which includes everything except the grand 1 dessert party and the MK shoot...i don't know how much a dessert party on the grand 1 is but the MK shoot is $1000.

What Puente told you above is exactly what I would have said ;)

The MK Shoot is actually $1100.

You can rent a pontoon boat for a little under $300, it would not be a DP but it would be a boat to watch wishes on :)

A DCL wedding starts at $2500, however photography is additional. You would also be eligible for an MK photoshoot.

If you can live without the MK shoot, check out Swan & Dolphin, Buena Vista Palace, Fultons, etc.

HTH

You should consider doing a Swan/Dolphin wedding.

It's only around $2500.

You get married right in the Boardwalk area-pretty outside venue.

It includes cake, champagne for two, musician, officiant, flower bouquet & boutinerre (sp?), I think photography?

You would not get the MK photoshoot, but you could hire a really good photographer for like $300 for a few hours & get really a really nice photoshoot done around the Boardwalk.

You could book a boat to watch Fireworks for an additional fee.

You can definitely book a last minute wedding there!

We are doing a S/D wedding. I originally really wanted the MK photoshoot, but this made much more sense financially & I am getting a really lovely small wedding right at WDW for half the price of an official WDW one!

does the escape wedding work the same as the wishes package, ie, you have a minimum and how you make up that minimum is up to you. And does the MK shoot apply to the minimum.

to be honest I only wanted an MK shoot to make up the minimum so if it doesnt count or I dont have to have it i'm not worried.

I may look into teh swan dolphin thing. Id love to have the Grand 1 to ourselves. I presume you can hire this and purchase a "sweets and drink" for any occasion? Think i'll be looking into this

I am getting married on Fultons. It's costing me approx $500 through a vendor. That price only includes planner/ co-ordinator and someone to marry us.

I am doing my own flowers.

Booking Randy for photography for 3 hours in the day then having him back at night for our wishes cruise. He's costing approx $750

Be aware that if you marry of Fultons then you must have your wedding reception/meal there also.

No for Escape you don't have to meet a minimum unless you want a private event like a reception.

Yes you could rent the Grand 1 and have food and drinks on that.

No, for an escape wedding there is no minimum to meet unless you add in a private catered event after your ceremony. Then the minimum is $7500 but this includes the price of the escape package ($4750+) you'd just need to spend up to the 7500. If you just want the basic Escape package, no meal after, then you can stay right around $5000. If you add the MK Shoot it is an additional $1100.

... and the MK Shoot will apply to Disney's minimum expenditure requirement if you use Disney Photographic Services to shoot your wedding or (if you use an outside photographer for the wedding) if you have the MK shoot on the day of your wedding. :thumbsup2
