I am continuing to work with DD on her scrapbook - as she wants to have one for her grad party. A lot of the "been started pages" got completed at a crop on Friday night.
I also posted this on the Bella Blvd post:
I want to touch this up a little - (i.e. the loops in the laces need a yellow background, and I want to put something on the computer screen - something math or statistics related Other than that - I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this page. And with all due respect for my inspiration - the link for that is: http://bellablvd.typepad.com/photos/midterm_idea_gallery/bg_shoes.html...
I also LOVE - that the one of the shoes in the pic matches the "shoes" from the Bella paper.
And - I plan on doing a complimenting page that starts off with "Oh the Places You'll Go" as we have a great pic of DD sitting on a stack of luggage from when we went on our Disney Cruise when DD was in 4th grade....
This is a layout that my DD did at the Bella Crop night - DD goes to the zoo every year with her cousin, husband, triplets and the younger sister. DD LOVES spending time with this cousin when they come into town every year. The pics for this one aren't printed yet - so - sorry for the "dark frames".
And - another page from the Bella Crop night. This one - very simple - and Stephanie (the owner) helped me with this!
That is all the Bella pages we have.
She has a great website that has inspiration from all her paper collections.
The link is here: http://www.bellablvd.typepad.com/ Once the page loads, the Collections are listed a little ways down on the page - and each collection has its own idea gallery.
And that is the end of our "bella" pages - the following posts are other pages that got finished up!
DD's freshman homecoming. Had the photos printed in sepia, since the theme was the Wild West. I used a "burlap" paper on one of the pages - as it just needed some texture.
I really struggled with this layout 2 months ago - and at the Friday crop we were at - I realized that simple was the way to go. I already had the tractor page done - and just the calendar. I didn't have any pics of the day that DD got her license. so - once I got over that - the page came together nicely - and again - easily.
I've already posted the John Deere picture - but here is the detail on the calendar page:
That is it for this weekend! DD has some awesome pages - which make mine look boring!
Thanks Jennifer! This has been a lot of fun. Boy oh boy - this has been an expensive project. (Shh - don't tell DH!) We are hoping to go to an Archiver's this weekend. DD is just so busy - and I'm trying to not interfere with AP exams and Scholarship apps.
Her grad party will be June 16th - so whatever we get done by then will "be in the book". The good news - no one will really know what didn't get finished.
Finally got to do a quick page. I haven't done any in two months. Here is one I made yesterday. I designed the banner cutting file so wanted to try it out.
