I was just wondering if they keep the fires going for roasting marshmallows while the movie is going...or if it's strictly done before the movie starts? Thanks!

You can still roast your marshmallows as the movie plays.:thumbsup2

It's much less crowded during the movie and even after it. They keep the fires going for a few minutes after. You can roast a marshmallow "to go."

You won't have a fire when the credits roll by but the FW cast members do check the fire after Chip & Dale have retired for the night and the movie starts. So that's a good time for the purists to roast a 'mellow.

The pre-singalong time is usually crowded and crazy. Lots of folks holding sticks over the fire. The sugar blobs catch fire and the kids pull them out and wave them around trying to extinguish the flame. If you have a daughter with long hair WATCH OUT! :scared1:

I've taken hot dogs and buns (plus condiments) to the campfire. It's a scene you don't find in many places any more so enjoy it and try to watch the movie too.

It will come to the Dis about Sept 1 or 2ish.
