All. I am going to Universal at easter and wondered if there was anyway I could book a table for 4 in advance? Their own website has no advance booking facility and I can't book via opentable.com.
Any help appreciated. Thankyou

I called last year to try to reserve a table only to be told that they do not take reservations. They only do walk ups. We arrived early for supper at about 5:30 and had no trouble getting a table for the 4 of us. It was well worth going. The waiter was so much fun! Make sure you see the movie again before you go.....they test you on Forrest Gump trivia! For the younger crowd, the waiter included them with Sponge Bob trivia. It was great fun.

FYI I think that if you are staying onsite you do get priority seating over those that are offsite.

Wherever you are staying check with your concierge. They should be able to give you a VIP card or help make sure you can get in when you want to!

We've eaten at Bubba Gump every USO trip (granted, it has only been 3!) and have never had a very long wait. At lunch, we have been seated immediately.

We were just in the one in Miami with 25 people and they still wouldn't take ressies but yes we did arrive early so it really helped.

Taking my dgs to IOA in a few weeks . His friends have told him about Bubba Gump. How close to IOA is it located? Can we leave the park to go eat and then re-enter - we only have this one park ticket? I will be doing valet parking and saw that it is located closer to that. Thanks for your advice.

I'm a local so I don't usually stay at the resorts (except for this weekend weeeee) I have eaten there a few times the wait isn't too bad 15-20 min max

If you really want something faster than that go talk to one of the booths in the parks that has all the menues they will sometimes give VIP cards if you ask nicely

BGSC is in City Walk, on the left just as you enter it from the parking garages and transportation area. IoA's gates are less than a 5 minute walk from there. Yes, you can leave a park and re-enter the same park in the same day for no extra cost.

What makes this restaurant special?

Nothing in particular. The food there is good, but probably no better than a number of other places in City Walk. If you're a big fan of the movie (as DW and I are), I suppose that's a draw.

What makes this restaurant special?

Very relaxing atmosphere theme, stuffed myself silly with some great food, BUT
my daughter got some probably food poison there from her shrimp(kids plate maybe, I can't remember) possibly cross contamination from lemons/shellfish, only lasted a day, but she threw up all through magic kingdom the next day..

I still thought the restaurant was great and would go back and recommend!
