I would love to see Newsies! That is awesome!

Last weekend we saw The Addams Family on tour. It was great! We've been listening to Crazier Than You multiple times since then.

Oh, and I highly recommend Mary Poppins!

Great show. Always loved the film as a kid and still do. Don't want to spoil it in case someone hasn't seen it, but Burt's dance routine in "Step in Time" is phenomenal. Actually, there's plenty of magical moments.

My young friend, Kara Oates (from Indianapolis), is currently one of three girls sharing/rotating the role of Jane Banks! I'd love to see her on Broadway but don't think I'll get there any time soon...

DD#1 played her in HS and we saw it several times in London. I told DDs that if the stars aligned properly, I'd spring for the hotel for a NY road trip.

My son loves the movie and went to Papermill to see it and loved it. His gf couldn't go to Papermill so he promised to take he to see it on Broadway

I did to! Boy, good seats were hard to get. I looked at so many show times before I found Orch. seats that weren't off to the side.

I wonder why they only have a 12 week run. Hopefully, they will extend it. I've a feeling this will be a "hot" show...

I think they have the option to extend. Possibly they listed 12 weeks to build sales?

Our regional theater in southern NJ has a great lineup this year. We subscribed and so far are seeing:

The Sound of Music
Annie!
Once Upon a Time in New Jersey (they swear this one is destined to go to Broadway)
White Christmas

We haven't decided about seeing the rest - Steel Magnolias, Barefoot in the Park, The RatPack Musical Review and I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.

I thought Samantha Barks did an excellent job during the 25th Anniversary Concert. I think she's a great choice for the movie.

DD#2 claims the unofficial record for having seen Les Mis but was ready to give up her "title" of #1 fan when she heard that Taylor Swift was going to play Eponine! When I gave her the good news, she said "There IS a God!"

Can anyone best her record of more than 100 performances? (She was an usher at the National Theatre in Washington DC the first summer Les Mis toured in the US and saw eight performances a week!)

I just bought tickets to Death of a Salesman with Phillip Seymour Hoffman. I'm pretty excited but I really wanted to see Book of Mormon I guess I have to wait until it comes to Chicago.

It's awesome how she found out too. She's playing Nancy in Oliver! in Manchester right now, and Cameron Mackintosh surprised her by announcing it in front of the audience during the curtain calls:

Yay!!! That show was so hilarious! Completely offensive in every way possible (and in a few I hadn't even thought of before I saw it), but completely, totally hilarious.

I heard it sold out in under 4 hours in Denver, so make sure to get your tickets early!!
