The "bringing back" of released items...

Ok, as a new player starting in October, I was really happy when they re-released the costumes so I, too, could "dress up". And, I must admit, that I was initially excited about the notion of VMK bringing back the beta items for purchase.

However, I really have enjoyed trading my way around VMK to get those items which have been considered "Beta" or "Rare". I wish VMK would leave those items alone and issue say a rocket chair in the color Red or White or Silver so as to not dilute the value of the Beta stuff. Seems to me that anyone who has been here since Day 1 and purchased that stuff or has traded for it, would be pretty upset that their items are no longer considered Beta? Of course, on the other hand, I would love a Blue Leota Table and Blue Rocking Chair.... bwahahahahaha...

Anyone else feel this way?

I agree that some rare stuff would be nice. But then i have to step back from my adult, what is it worth, what can i get for it, mentality and realize that Disney and VMK are coming from the standpoint that this is a kids game. And as such, and knowing disney, they will probaly sooner or later strive to make sure that all kids (us big kids included) have a shot at everything. And by only putting it back out for short spurts, it may not be AS rare, but there will still be those who miss it, or sign up after it is gone again, and some trading will still take place. And some trading is "good enough" for disney and vmk.

Whether or not i agree with that mentality is beside the point, but it helps me understand when i see those rare things all of the sudden being resold.
