I just got this from Netflix and watched it for the first time. I thought it was pretty good. It just has me thinking now. Hmmmm, what are your opinions on "vigilante justice"? Especially considering the situations Jodie Foster's character was in. I'm not sure what I think.. I mean, I wouldn't go looking for something to happen, but for those who have seen it, those dudes on the train would have totally got it from me the same way.

I haven't seen the film but I generally feel that vigilante justice undermines America. I also know that there are times when justice will never be served - the cop who beats his wife without consequences, the killer who is never punished because of double jeopardy, etc. Then what? I don't know.
