The Boathouse or Homecomin?

Which would you choose? I cannot decide on a Disney Springs restaurant.
Is there a dress code at the Boathouse?

I've never eaten at Boathouse so I can't speak to it but we love Homecoming! We thought it was delicious and are returning in August

Wow. Tough choice. I adore both. I do not think there's a dress code at Boathouse. If you can do both - drinks/apps at one and dinner another I think that's the way to go. Boathouse perhaps a bit more pricey given focus on steak and seafood (but some very affordable options too). Would say Homecomin focuses on fried chicken and great craft cocktails. For atmosphere would give nod to Boathouse as I love eating outside and watching the amphicars. But in an ideal evening, I'd hit both. In other words, can't go wrong.

Don't make me choose! We find a way to do both each trip. Sometimes multiple times. And there's no dress code for Boathouse. It might feel a bit classier than Homecomin' but both are equally as casual really

Homecoming is known for the fried chicken and southern cuisine with a casual atmosphere. Boathouse is known for their steak & sea oriented fare and is a little more upscale as well as pricier. No dress code that I'm aware of. (we prefer Boathouse-didn't have the best experience at Homecoming but most love it).

No dress code that I'm aware of. (we prefer Boathouse-didn't have the best experience at Homecoming but most love it).

Well I decided we would eat at The Boathouse. The menu has so many good options and looks like the atmosphere would be nice from the photos. I also searched for food photos and more reviews. The Boathouse it is

I see they have a menu for dinner and a menu for outside. Can you order from the outside menu if you are eating inside? I have no plans on eating outside in August lol to hot out!

We did both this trip and I personally would choose boathouse. The chicken tasted funny at homecoming which was disappointing as I was really looking forward to fried chicken. I'm from the south so maybe I expected more out of the chicken? Not sure! :lol: it kind of tasted like dirt. No one at my table wanted to say it but later everyone burst out laughing when I finally said it. They all said yes they thought the same.
