HI BF ~ You are doing soooo well.

It takes a fwe weeks to build up fitness but once you get there nothing will stop you ;)
 
Way to go on the walking. 3 miles that is great!

You are doing great, keep it up!
 
I've had my head in the sand for several days as I get ready for school to begin. There is so much that I have to do to prepare that I lose sight of just about everything else. I can definately say that I have not done well with walking or eating for the past two days. I also am promising to check in regularly to keep myself on board. My new dress arrived for back to school. I was so excited until I tried it on and I needed several inches more fabric. I am not sending it back...I am not buying a bigger one...I am going to set a goal of wearing it for Parent/Teacher conferences in October. I hope this is a realistic goal. I am going to hand it in a place of honor so that I can see it and be reminded of my goal. I truly appreciate all of the wonderful words of encouragement that I received from so many people on the WISH board. Big thanks to eeyore25! You have been very helpful. Thank you!
 

Hi BF ~ Hope you are doing ok today. It's very hard to keep your mind focused on diet/exercise when you have other things to think about. Remember a healthy eating plan is for life and from you post it sounds as though you are starting to adapt your new healthy approach into your already busy lifestyle. It will take a little time but you will get there. I'm sure that by October that dress will be much looser.

Way to go ~ you rock :)

Hey, BlueFairy! Have you started school again? We miss you around here! Remember we are here to cheer each other on :cheer2:, and you can only hear our tiny little voices if you stop by! :teeth:

Hopefully, once you are back in a routine, you will find it easier to stick by your plan! Just think of how great you will look and feel come Thanksgiving!

Thanks for checking up on me everyone! We start school on Wednesday. I teach at a private school and our school is going through an accreditation process. I was at school Monday through Saturday from 7 am until 6:30 pm most days. All this, and trying to get our classroom's in order and lesson plans and materials gathered. Thank goodness this will be a short week of teaching. I have dropped the ball on my journal and walking routine. I am still committed to my goals of losing weight and gaining good health. I so appreciate the notes of concern. The WISH board is an excellent source of encouragement. Thank you all. :flower:
