Hello! I'm new to the boards! I referenced your wisdom quite a bit before our trip last year and finally decided to join today and make it official. 
We surprised our children on Christmas last year with their first trip to Disney World. We ALL had such an AMAZING time that when my DH and I started planning our winter getaway this year we kept coming back to 'why don't we just go back to Disney?'...so...guess where we are going!?!
We decided to surprise our children again with this trip. We didn't want to do a Christmas reveal in fear of it becoming an 'expected' Christmas gift (would that be all bad???). Instead we are telling them tonight on New Year's Eve!!!
We are going to have a Disney themed fun night at home for the four of us and at some point we will reveal the BIG NEWS! My DH and I are just a *little* excited and have been talking in Disney code all morning.
Anyway, I just wanted to say Hello and thank you for all of your wonderful tips and advice thus far. I look forward to adding my two cents when and where I can.

We did a Disney themed evening tonight at home, including playing the Toy Story Wii game. I 'decorated' with several of their Disney stuffed animals and toys and hid clues on the bottoms. They slowly discovered the clues and our daughter read them aloud. You could tell that she was catching on because she was getting more and more excited as she went along. They were even more excited this year, probably because they know what they are in store for! LOL
