The best week in November?

We just returned from our second trip to Disney last week. For the second year in a row we have gone during the summer and we have vowed never to do it again!!!

We were thinking of heading back in November 2007. We don't want to be there for Thanksgiving. What do you think of the week before Thanksgiving? Is it too busy that time of year?

Also, when do the holiday decorations go up? If we went the week before Thanksgiving, would we be able to see them?

Our favorite week to go is the week after Thanksgiving. We get to WDW (by car) on the Saturday evening right after Thanksgiving and go into the park on Sunday when everyone else is checking out! The parks are practically dead and the Christmas decorations are up or going up. Each day there were new decorations up. And the weather is nice. We have only been one time when it was very cold (that's very cold to us from the deep south!).

We cannot go that week anymore as our kids are 15 and 12 and we cannot pull them out of school. But, that has always been our favorite week. We have also be in January, February, May, July, and October. Over 25 times. Nothing compares to that after Thanksgiving week!

We went the week before Thanksgiving and it was wonderful. Especailly the extra hours in the evening. Walk on rides we could enjoy several times in a row. Simply fantastic. I also thought the Xmas decorations were beautiful. I'm so glad we went that time of year.

I went in Nov 04 for the week of Thanksgivng and stayed til the following Mon.The week of Thanksgiving was some what busy but the longer park hours made up for it! the Christmas decorations we starting to go up and that following weekend they were all over.
