Producers - Plants, and anything that gets it's food from the Sun.
Primary Consumers - Animals that eat plants (herbivores)
Secondary Consumers - Animals that eat herbivores (carnivores)

At each level, energy is lost through heat, respiration, waste, etc. Also, a large chunk of energy (about 85%) is lost moving from producers to primary consumers because much of the plant is underground and aren't eaten, and they also can't digest cellulose which stores more energy.

Calvin cycle! RuBP has RUBISCO and Carbon Dioxide added to it. It becomes a 6 carbon structure that immediately splits into a 3 carbon structure (GALP) due to being unstable. Then reduced NADP and ATP are added to GALP and the hydrogen is taken from them to make them NADP and ADP, and added to GALP to make GP. After a few changes, it becomes Glucose and RuBP, and the cycle begins again.

I can't remember that off-by-heart. Huzzah!

I think we have something that's like a GCSE...it's a Regents test. I have to take 4 this year: Algebra, Bio, Spanish, and History.
