Why is Flapjack so disturbing at times?

It's a show about a kid and a whale with strange animation and bad voice acting.

I love it. One of my favourite cartoon shows. It's just disturbing sometimes... Such as the mermaid wishes episode

my godmother lives near to where paul mccartney lives. she sees him quite often in the shops etc. its so natural, because they seem him all the time, people dont mob him... i think that really cool
