Hello,

I will be at WDW from May 23 to 25 (MON-WED). We will do MK, MGM and Epcot. But what will be the best order? (I considered EMH already)

1)
MON: MGM
TUE: MK
WED: EPCOT

2)
MON: MK
TUE: EPCOT
WED: MGM

Which solution would you choose and why?

Thank you for your help!
Chris :goodvibes

Most of the votes are for Option No. 1 (MGM-MK-EPCOT)... I think we will do it that way... I've taken already the audience joker... maybe I should take another 50:50 joker?! ;) :flower:

are there any disadvantages with option no.1?

may 2005 >> first wdw trip, first us-trip, first oversea flight... i'm so excited

I said #1 because :

The Magic Kingdom is usually crowded on Mondays because people usually arrive on the weekend and they want to go to the MK first (on Monday). Making Tuesday a great day for going to the MK. :flower:

Epcot is good for Wednesday because the MK has EMH on Wednesday and it will be more crowded at MK on Wednesday. Therefore making Wednesday a good day for Epcot. :)

Mondays are always good for MGM because most people are at the Magic Kingdom. :sunny:

@MinnieM21: Thanks for your tip - that sounds really good.

@Ducky4Disney: I will have a full day at Epcot as well if I take #1, because we will not departe on Wednesday! Thursday is Typhoon Lagoon! :flower:

Ok, so my idea wasn't posted. I say do MK on Wed because it is an EMH at night (at least the day we go next month). Then do Epcot Mon and MGM on Tues.

Just my 2 cents :)

But I thougt EMH is only for onsite-guests? Because we will be offsite (HI Nikki Bird)

Well there you go. Yes EMH is only for onsite. I am sorry I didn't know that from the op. Then I vote for #1~!

You couldn't know that - it was my mistake.... I think I will take #1.

Thank you all - you're great.

Spectromagic is often run on Monday nights, so it depends on whether you would be willing to battle larger crowds in order to see it.

As the result of the poll I thought of doing option #1: MGM-MK-EPCOT (MON - WED May 22-24) but now they changed the Extra Magic Hours....

Do you think monday MGM is now bad cause of the Extra Evening Hours? (I don't have the extra hours because of offsite hotel). Or do the Extra EVENING Hours don't affect crowds?!

Maybe this would be better suggestions:
3) EPCOT - MGM - MK
4) MK - MGM - EPCOT

or as mentioned in the poll option #2): MK-EPCOT-MGM?

Any ideas? :confused3

Thanks,
Chris :wizard:

IMO, if you're staying offsite I would stay out of a park that has the EMH. Although I am hoping to see something as to how the Evening EMH affects daytime crowds in that park.

I would still stay out of MK on a Monday, go there Tues or Wed. I vote for option #3 :)

Thanks weluvpluto. Is it possible to add option #3 and #4 to the poll?

Oh, I just saw that I will make a big mistake to do #3: MON: EPCOT, TUE: MGM, WED: MK - this are exactly the EMH and we will stay offsite!! So, I think this will be the worst option....

I don't know why, maybe they change the EMH or I didn't took a very close look at the Park hours.... so now my plans are:

MON: MGM
TUE: MK
WED: EPCOT

Have a nice trip and don't worry about the 8 level crowds - I think it will be less crowded - Think positive! :cheer2:

I stay offsite and I think your best plan is Monday-MGM, Tuesday-MK, Wednesday-Epcot.

I think MGM will be quieter on Monday due to its EMH evening is Sunday. Tuesday has always been a great day for MK for us, which leaves Wednesday for Epcot.

Well, your plans would be an option for me, too..... Thank you :-)

Do you mean with that that MK is more exciting, more magic, more "Disney-feeling" than Epcot...

like the same: "never do Universal FOTL BEFORE Disney"?!
