The Best Kid Friendly Hotel????

Hi,

Out of all of the value and moderately priced resorts, which hotel is the best liked by kids? The kids will be aged 2-6........please help!!!

Our kids were 6 and 3 in April on our visit to POFQ. They have stayed at ASMo, ASMu, and POFQ. Of these three, they enjoyed ASMo the best - just loved the Dalmation and Buzz icons. But were also impressed by the musical instrument icons at ASMu and the alligator icons and Mardi Gras masks in the POFQ food court. My son liked the POFQ slide, it was too scary for my daughter.

In my opinion up until age 5 or 6 the kids don't care were they stay - as long as there is a pool and a playground. Speaking of playgrounds - the AllStar playgrounds were nicer than POFQ, I guess more little kid oriented.

Over age 6 the resort amenities start mattering to the kids. I would recommend staying wherever you (the parents) want to stay, I bet the kids will love it. Next trip let the kids have input to the decision. Besisdes you will probably be spending a large part of your waking hours at MK, not at the resort.

We have stayed at ASSp, POR and CBR but it was long ago - pre-kids, and have not stayed at CSR or PC, so I can not comment on these resorts.

For the children I'd go with All Star Movies but personally I'd go for POFQ as a moderate or GF for Deluxe. Depends on your budget.

Go for All-Star movies! Its all about the big Disney icons everywhere. Second choice would be Pop Century, because those icons are cool too.

They are ALL kid friendly! My DD has loved every resort we have stayed at. Show your kids some pictures of the resorts you are considering and seek their opinions. I do that with my DD (almost 4) and she loves looking and commenting on the different resorts. She even has a list of resorts she'd like to try someday!

I would say to stay where the ADULTS want to stay. We just got back from CBR with our 3 year old son and while there are no cool statues or anything like at Movies, Pop Century, etc., my son absolutely loved it. The beach area was great and each little beach has its own playground perfect for little ones. He got his fill of all the characters at the parks and Downtown Disney so the resort was a nice change of scenery...very relaxing. I would absolutely consider staying at the CBR if I were you. However, I have never stayed at any other Disney Resorts so I really have no other resort experiences to compare it to. Just consider this, I loved it so much that I am already planning to go back next year!!!!!!
