The BEST Event to Attend at WDW

We've been for, Easter, the Flower Fest, Christmas (CP and MVMCP) and the 4th of July, but haven't been for NYE (doing that this year). I was wondering, what's the BEST event to attend at WDW?

Options off the top of my head are:

NYE
Easter
Christmas
4th of July
MVMCP
CP
MNSSHP
Food and Wine Fest
Flower and Garden Fest

I'm sure I'm missing some...

I tend to avoid the big events there because of the crowds. I'd much rather have no lines.

For smaller events:
- I went during St. Patrick's Day when I was in college on spring break and Pleasure Island was a lot of fun that night!
- We went during the F&W fest last year. I'm a picky eater so it didn't appeal to me much, but my husband loved it! He ate at a bunch of booths and had a great time trying new foods.
- And this year, we'll be there on Halloween, so that will be fun!

The only thing I can think of you haven't listed is the Star Wars weekends thing at MGM. I have never been. My top favorite thing is Candlelight Processional and it's especially wonderful on Christmas Eve-it's like going to church but in your favorite place!

I've done the Flower & Garden Festival and while some of the topiaries were beautiful, I thought that as a whole, it was just ok.

I've done Star Wars Weekends and have even marched in the parades. I loved it...but I think that if it wasn't for marching in the parades, I wouldn't have enjoyed it AS much (even though I'm a big SW fan). I think marching in it (as a stormtrooper) added an entirely new element for it.

We'll be doing MNSSHP for this first time...going September 15th. I can't wait!!

Other events I'd love to do: Food & Wine Festival, Night of Joy, MVMCP, Candlelight Processional

I love Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party . My husband and I had so much fun......but the lights of MGM studios for Christmas are the ultimate Christmas Display

When the kids were young we always went during the summer for the long hours. Now that they're older there is no better time to go than during the Christmas season and the food and wine festival. Christmas is the time for a big family trip but food & wine is our adults only trip. But really any time at disney is better than being at work.

Just reverse Dan's first and second choices and you have mine. One of the main things I love at F&G festival is the Flower Power concerts. A few years ago Steppenwolf was there, and listening to "Magic Carpet Ride" in Epcot was really an experience!

NYE - Never done
Easter - Never Done
Christmas - not Christmas day but went before Christmas. It is just perfect! The weather is beautiful, the parks with decorations day and night are really something to see.
4th of July - Never Done
MVMCP- Excellent!
CP - missed it
MNSSHP - Not yet
Food and Wine Festival - Loved it
Flower and Garden Fest - cute, did not go for that, just happened to be there..same as Star Wars Weekend...just happened to be there it was cool to see.

What is the best to see IMHO, is the Holidays. Low crowd levels are big for us. The weather is beautiful too. We usually check out of WDW on the 15th of Dec, just as the crowds are starting to check in. MVMCP was great and the fireworks are just amazing. Going again this year.
