Myself, 31 year old, obsessive planner, with a Disney fetish.
DH, 34 year old, supporter of my psychosis.
DS, 6 year old, prodigy and little copy of me.
DD, 4 year old, princess trapped in this popper lifestyle.
It was a day, like any other day, in the Beadoop household... when the phone rings.... As I answer... the smiles washes from my face.... Someone is using my Disney Visa Card for fraudulent purchases on the internet, and much like those commercials where they have some middle aged man sitting in front of his trailer talking with a girl's voice about the new lingerie he just bought... Chase thought something looked suspicious about a card that has been used at the Disney Store, Toys R Us, and The Discovery Store suddenly being used at unwholesome websites.
They closed my Disney Visa Card immediately... issuing me a Disney Rewards card with my $455 in rewards on it. Well.... $455 isn't enough for a Disney trip, and I really didn't plan on using the rewards until they were more substantial. I just figured it would be a Disney Store Christmas.
Just to humor myself, I hopped on the Disney website. I looked into Labor Day week so that we would only have to use 4 vacation days. Voila... it is FREE DINING. Voila... the All Star Music has room. Voila... Southwest could get all four of us to and from Orlando on non-stop flights for $163 a person round trip. With my Disney Rewards Dollars applied, I could get room, park tickets, air flight, and dining for $1,400 for a family of four for a week. Uh... yeah.... I think I will be booking that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I then start looking into ADR's... thinking that free dining will sabotage all the restaurants I wanted to eat at. Low and behold... I got into CRT for lunch on our first day. I got into Coral Reef, with a Diver, for lunch on our second day. I got into Breakfastasaurus for a Character breakfast our third day. I got a Fantasmic Dinner package at Hollywood and Vine our fourth day. I got Sci-fi Dine In reservations and Rainforest Cafe reservations also.
I have an adorable Cinderella costume for my daughter to wear at her lunch in the castle. I got great pins off Ebay (No Sedusma or Spanish pins either) for my son to trade. I am ordering their crocs today... so much planning that it has really kept me busy... and oddly enough... so happy!
Couldn't get any better... right? HA.... you underestimate my obsessiveness.
I got a Wishes cruise booked. I got my kids in on the Pirate Treasure Cruise from the Grand Floridian. I got appointments the Bippity Boppity Boutique. AND THEN>>>> I discovered the Dis!!!!!!!
Well..... I am in on a fridge swap, a photopass share, got a family to split my Wishes cruise with me, and will be going to Disney with more information than I ever imagined I would possess!!!!!
