We were in Orlando June 19-25 we did Disney and Universal. I am NO newbie to Universal. Everytime we go to Disney,we do Universal.

I took my almost 3 yr old to see the Barney show. Would you believe this thing has not changed in almost 10 yrs??:confused3 My oldest is almost 13, we started going when he was almost 3 himself. I took my middle daughter when she was old enough. So it is just a tradition to take the kids there to see Barney.
I enjoy the Barney show, but come on after 10 or 11 yrs isnt it time to change it up a bit????:confused3

Apparently not. If anything I think you'd see it disappear before it changes. The Tiki room changed, and people hate it.....they kept the version in Disneyland, and people love it.....

We went to Universal for the first time last week. One of the highlights of the trip for my DD (4) was the Barney Show. I can see why it hasn't changed. Mainly, Barney sings, and the songs haven't really changed that much over the years. Hannah loved it, and I was surprised that it was better than I thought it would be.

It is so fun to see the little ones face light up when they See Barney. My almost 3 yr old couldnt stop smiling the whole time.

Do you remember what time the Barney show you saw was? I'm trying to plan out our trip. I had planned on going to USF in the morning, but I thought I read somewhere that the shows don't start until afternoon.

Thanks!

you outgrew the show, it continues to amaze the little ones it was intended to.

our daughter is 13 and she still loves it a couple of times of year just to watch the little ones and sing the songs.

We've spent a TON of time at Universal the past two years and I never even realized there was a Barney show! Like others have said, I can see them getting rid of the show completely before they rehab or update it. Is Barney even on anymore?!

Yes, Barney is still on. Well at least where we live it is on the PBS channel. I am not sure what time as we have TIVO'd a lot of them for my youngest.

It hasn't changed and it's still perfect for young children! Of course, my oldest DD(10) thinks it's lame now, but she LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it as a kid as did my middle DD. It's my youngest DD who LOVES it now and it will be her brother after her.

Babiemelly, just have to comment on your signature picture!! I was reading a magazine a few days ago (probably People) and I saw a picture of the actress that played Topanga. Holy crud!!! She looks like a fitness model in a super tiny bikini! I guess she has been doing a weightloss program and is a spokesperson starting this month!

Back on topic... we will be in Universal seeing Barney at least once (probably more) next week.
