The Bachelor Jake thread Spoilers welcome

I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of Ali. I forsee- MOST DRAMATIC COMEBACK IN BACHELOR HISTORY OR MOST DRAMATIC PROPOSAL IN BACHELOR HISTORY :lmao:
Jaded, a bit, are we? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: The Bachelor would NEVER do anything like that. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
the whole crying in the hallway by Ali was over the top!
I think she left and the production crew told her to come back and sit in the hallway crying. I thought that was a bit much even for a reality show.

Not only is the face hold kissing annoying, but having to have EVERY girl sit with their legs in Jake's lap is REALLY annoying. Does he have a calf fetish that makes him do that with EVERY girl? Ali was breaking up with him and he grabbed her legs and put them in his lap. While that could be romantic and nice, you don't do that when a girl is telling you goodbye.

If Ali really loved Jake, she would have left her job and stayed - even for a maybe. She would fight for her man and let him know it. The fact that she has doubts says it all. I think she was crying for the lost fairy tale she didn't find. He is stupid if he can't see that.

I agree 100%. I think she is a total fake. She is either an actress or gunning to be the next Bachlorette or something. Then again I cannot stand her so I'm sure that shapes my opinion.

I am still really struggling with the idea of him picking Vienna - I just don't get it at all.

At this point Gia is my favorite - she was so sweet last night.

Tenley is sweet too, but I don't think she's ready for another relationship yet. She needs more time to heal.

The next time they have a story line where one girl has to *choose* between the bachelor and her job, they need to pick a better actress. Messing up your hair doesn't make you any more believable.

I think they promised her the Bachelorette gig and told her to do that crap. It wasn't believable and it didn't track. I guess we were supposed to think Vienna was going home (not for a minute thanks to Reality Steve), and then Ali bowing out was like a saving grace for Vienna, making it all the more aMAZing when he picks her in the end. (Umm, they sort of did this story line on Rock of Love and it was more believable there.)

Blech. Sometimes I hate myself for watching this show.

Funny how two people can watch the same show and see things so differently

Per Reality Steve Ali does NOT come back during the show. He said at the beginning of his columns this is exactly what is going to happen...she leaves "for work reasons"...but he does say 100% that she DOES NOT come back.

I mentioned on the NON spoiler thread that people watch and interpret the Bachelor based on their own history and lives. There are the romantics and the skeptics.

Count me in as number TWO! :surfweb:

Just read Chris's blog on E.W.com and he said Ali and Jake talked for like two hours that night. Wow we didn't even see have that. And she still left. :confused3

Yeah because Jake didn't have the guts to tell Ali he didn't like her (that way). He just let her cry it out until she left on her own.

I myself am both a romantic and a skeptic. ;)

You know, I want this to be a real show, but it's just gone so far out there that I can't suspend disbelief anymore.

The girls aren't supposed to get phone calls from the "outside world", right? Rozlyn couldn't talk to her son, but Ali can get a call from her employer? And her employer (Facebook, BTW) can't live without her another week? What job is she doing at Facebook that someone else can't do for a week?

Whether you believe the show is scripted or manipulated or not, Ali having to choose between her "career" and Jake is not the full story. Something else was going on there.

Anyone have any idea when the episode will be online??

I agree with the above post...

My thoughts exactly!

First, to get on the show, it is obvious that you need to clear your schedule for at least that full number of weeks. That would have to be in the contract. No way would ABC sink that kind of money into this show and to into each selected girl/guy, without insuring that people were clear to complete the contract.

Second, let's say an employer were to contact ABC and tell them to relay a message that they need their employee back... If we are talking about a girl in the final 4, yes, in that case, ABC gets to script in some drama. Which, of course, is what they are looking for.

Personally, I do not like Ali, and was glad to see her go.

Funny how she claims that Vienna is the self absorbed one. :rotfl2:
All Ali could say over and over was '....getting everything I want' if she were to get Jake. :sad2:
How could anyone be more into-themselves.

Ali was not dumb. Her employer had nothing to do with it. She was trying to play Jake (and the show) by getting a committment from him asap before she wasted any of her time. She wanted Jake's heart on a platter and she wanted to know if she had it after they came back from Massachusetts. She didn't have Jake so there was no reason to move forward. That's my theory.

Ali was so fake last night. I was suprised I didn't see an onion in her hand.

But the previews make it seem like she is coming back didn't they?

I guess the point on Rozlyn doesn't hold water for me. I don't belive for one second they wouldn't let her talk to her son. When a couple of weeks later Ella son was on the show. Jason son Tyler was on the show a lot. I think Rozlyn left the show for the reason ABC said she had a relationship with the producer that crossed the line.

As far as Ali work. I'm not sure I would give up a job that I loved for a man that I wasn't sure that felt the same for me, esp when he had three other women to choose from. I 100% feel that if Ali hadn't left she would have been F1 and it would have been Ali and Vienna in the final and it would have came down to enemies storyline.

I agree! If it wasn't actually scriped I think it was just Ali playing games and trying to force the issue with Jake.

I'm with you. I think we are both just incurable romantics :lovestruc.

LOL gulity, I feel in love with this show during the Andy Baldwin and Tessa season. I loved seeing there love story.

I really had high hopes for this season, I figured Jake was the real deal. I hope he finds his princess and has his love story as well.
