The Bachelor - Ben??? No spoilers

Yeah, I don't see any chemistry with JoJo, and with Caila, she's so touchy and bouncy, that while any man, especially one who thinks he is unloveable, would find attractive, I don't see more than fun with Caila at the end. So, I think Lauren is a good fit with him. Similar conservative background and I think the deal was sealed during his hometown date with her, when he was so taken by how well she did with the youth group he is so fond of, and fit in with his friends. Also, only Lauren did he say took his breath away when he first saw her. The crap with saying I love 2 women, I hope who ever is the final, does not watch and lets the show romances with the other women rolls off her back..

The bachelor/bachelorette is always torn, or so they say, up until the very end over who to choose. It almost always sounds like they flipped a coin at the end. I also wouldn't put much stock in who he appears to have the biggest connection. It's all about editing for "the most shocking finale in bachelor history"

Ok bare with me... last night was the first episode I've watched all season. LOL! Based on last night's episode only, I came away liking Jojo the most. I thought she was the most attractive, but did find her family irritating. Her brothers overplayed the "protective brother" card and I think that may have been to her detriment with Ben. I also read one of the links a few posts up about Jojo and apparently she has a reality TV background and her brother does too. Does anyone think she may have ulterior motives being on the Bachelor? Obviously I haven't seen her throughout the season to know how she was with Ben, etc.

They get an opportunity to possibly travel all over the world perhaps to places they would not normally have gone, have experiences they would never have otherwise, get publicity which has led to opportunities for some past contestants, perhaps get their own season if they make it close to the end, and oh yeah, kind of sort of maybe fall in love.

Even Jimmy Kimmel talked about how creepy those brothers were and how mom was in the background drinking straight from the bottle. Yeah, Ben was probably grateful there was a crew there with him.

Any of these 'reality' shows is really a stepping ground for other things for most of these people (they hope). Seems most folks have aspirations of breaking into show business. I hate that the people that get cast are not just average folks.

Truthfully though...what kind of honest person wants to meet their partner on a reality TV show where they are also dating 15 others? Doesn't sound like my dream romantic situation.

So I am just curious~Let's say he picks Lauren and she says yes. Who thinks they will ACTUALLY get married? As a flight attendant she may be able to ask for a home base change to CO, or Ben may be able to move to L.A. I get the feeling neither of their parents will be thrilled that either is moving further away from the family than they already are.
One a side note, does anyone else think Lauren's sister look's like ( a younger) Laura San Giacomo?

I don't think he wanted to string Amanda along anymore and he needs a F3 for the end of the show. I guess he could have gone right down to F2 and dumped JoJo because of her crazy family but she can take being dumped next week.

I see it differently. I think Jo Jo is one of the girls he is in love with, so much so that he overlooked the *run as fast as you can* vibe from the family.

Her father seemed sweet though.
