I love them! They have been pretty big around here for a few years because they are from Concord, NC.

Have you heard I and Love and You? Or Belladonna? Those are my favorite songs. I'm glad to see they are finally getting big.

I do love Murder in the City. It's very pretty.

I had never heard of them until I started trying to buy tickets to see Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. They are opening for the Avett Brothers at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN, on 10/30/10. I started trying to buy tickets in July and they were already sold out. My husband told me it was because of the Avett Brothers.

Yep, they have a huge following in the South. I'm not surprised that the show was sold out. You should give them a try. Just about all of their songs give me cold chills.

I have been a huge Avett Brothers fan for several years. "Head Full of Doubt" and "I and Love and You" are my personal favorite songs although their older stuff is awesome as well. Right now Amazon has a great deal where you can download the most recent album for $5.

See them live -- AMAZING! Unfortunately, they're strategically only playing a couple dates a year in North Carolina now. They're still around here between shows, though.

In May at Merlefest (a roots/old time/bluegrass fest), they were the last act on Sunday. Even though there had been music on like a dozen stages all day, throngs of people came streaming in about an hour before their show.
