I would love opinions on this place. It is safe. did you do the meal plan. I the food really THAT expensive? Is comfort Suites a good deal? thanks

I have been there a few times. Yes it is completely safe. Atlantis is on paradise island it's across the bridge from downtown Nassau. The food is crazy expensive. We stay at the Comfort inn it's right across the street and grants you full access to Atlantis. They offer free breakfast that helps keep costs down & we don't eat on Atlantis property. Check out Marina village it's next to Atlantis has some restaurants and shops. Atlantis can be a great vacation without breaking the bank, just do your research. If you have anymore questions I can help you with let me know. Oh, and check trip advisor I use Cheryls taxi. She was awesome. I think $60 for 5 of us to the resort with a grocery and liquor store stop. so much cheaper than the shuttles offered at 75 pp round trip.

Thanks so much! So the food in Marina Village is cheaper? If you don't gamble is there anything to do at night? I noticed on the website there was a theater on property. Is it free? Is the beach nice? How much does it cost to rent chairs? Thanks

Marina village is not cheap but a lot less than eating at one of the buffets or restaurants. For 4 adults I think we usually spend around 100-120 for dinner at Anthonys.That's with drinks too. A few other ways to save cash is to stop and buy water. I am a budget traveler without being over the top cheap. I always use cheap Caribbean to book they usually have good specials and includes the daily electric and maid fee that can really add up.

Sorry I missed a few of your questions. Not much to do at night unless you gamble. The movies are free they tend to be a few months old. Not new releases or anything.. Beach is free.If you walk striaght from the royal towers the beach to the right is public. To the left is for the cove & the reef . Check out the beach to the left if its windy it's got a cove that keeps the water clear. I am almost positive the chairs rent for free too. if you want a spot by the pool try and get there early. We generally don't care about having a spot but i know other do. Don't know if you drink or not but they have awesome mixed drink menu. I scoffed when i first saw they where 10 dollars. I want to tell you this - You will absolutely LOVE it! Atlantis is awesome and worth every penny.

I was also wondering about the Sheraton on Cable Beach. I'm thinking about a few days at each. I have heard that that Cable Beach is calmer then Atlantis Beach. I'm sure the food is megaexpensive at the Sheraton right? Are there places within walking distance to get food that are cheaper? Thanks
