I was wondering if anyone had information about the Atlantis? I want to start planning a trip but have no idea when the best time is, where to find good deals ,etc. Also, does anyone know of a site like this strictly for the Bahamas?

We are getting ready to leave for the airport to pick up our best friends, they have a timeshare at Atlantis, harborside, and have been there all week. I am sure that Atlantis has a website. I would link it but I am not that computer savy. As for the best time, I personally love getting away in winter and going somplace warm, but that may be their high season. I do know that food is very expensive there. They always take a suitcase full of snacks and then bring souvenirs back in the same suitcase.

Atlantis has it's own web site. Also, I suggest you post over at the Disney Cruise forum, Nassau is one of the ports of call and there is often Atlantis info over there. Have a great trip!:sunny:

Funny you should bring this up, just yesterday DH and I were discussing taking the kids there next year instead of WDW (gasp--the horror--not going to WDW!)

Just in case you have not heard, there is a Comfort Inn and Suites adjacent to the property that allows full privileges at the resort. You have use of all the pools and slides and such. They offer a continental breakfast as well. They are cheaper than the rooms at Atlantis. It looks like a nice place. I have heard food was really expensive as well.

What a gorgeous place! A friend of mine took her daughter there last summer when she graduated from 8th grade. A mom/daughter trip. What gorgeous pictures she brought back! Have a GREAT time! :)

Thanks guys for all your help. I looked at the atlantis website and got some prices. But its like Disney, if i didnt know about this site and mousesavers i would just pay whatever price they had posted. I sure wish there was a message board like this for first time visitors. I would imagine they would have special deals or low seasons but the website really doesnt tell you stuff like that.

We are going next summer so if you find a discount site with codes ....let me be the 1st you tell :teeth:
