Cast: me (mom) 44, DH 45, DS14 (Sparky), DD6 (Princess)
This takes us to our final day in the world. We were able to check out early & have our luggage stored for us. I kept swim suits separate so when we came back from MGM, we could swim for an hour or so.
It was extremely hot at MGM & I wonder if we would go to a park on our last day the next time. The kids were really ready to head home to see friends & their own beds. They were a bit cranky today & not into the shows here. It was difficult to organize our day because of the show times. And the kids, having such a large age difference, didn't want to see the same shows. They did love Tower of Terror, especially our little one. DH & DS did RnR much to the dismay of DD6, who was not tall enough yet. We loved WWTBAM & wished we had time to do it again. I saw B&B while the other 3 did ToT again. I was dying of the heat in that theatre. We never got into Voyage of the Little Mermaid which is one of my favorites. So, as you can tell, we were all not ourselves. I felt like we needed some refreshing, so I found 50's Prime Time & checked to see if we could get in without a PS. Sure enough, with a 30 minute wait (it seemed less) "Andrew's Kids, Lunchtime!!!!" What a great place. We had a ball! The food was delicious & our waitress was great with the kids. Our neighbors did not finish their plates like we did & had to have spoonfuls fed to them. The kids roared! A must do next time.
We left the park happy, but sad that this trip was coming to an end. By the time we got back to CBR, it was really too late to swim, so we hung out in the arcade & filled up our mugs one last time. Tiffany Town Car was picking us up at 4:30, so we headed over to Custom House, got our luggage out of hold & off to the airport we went.
I was not very happy with Airtran on this leg of our trip. They had our family split up on the aircraft. DH & DS had to sit in the last row, with no window & no recline to the seat. From Atlanta to Buffalo the same thing. Very unhappy. Then, they had my 6 year old sitting in a row that cannot sit anyone under 15. So a big commotion took place with no one wanting to switch with us. The stewardess was very annoyed & made the flight less than enjoyable.
We got home a little before midnight, safe & sound. Lots of laundry & no food in the fridge. But another disney trip under our belts. I can't wait to go back. Thanks for reading my report. If it helped anyone out, good! Because you all helped me sooooo much with my planning. I just wanted to return the favor. My last report will be Thoughts & Opinions.
