I was trying to post, but I clicked new thread instead of reply. Who knows where the other posts went :)

Anyway, I have been reading the messages off and on for about a month. I am so excited to get to POP in June. We will be travelling with my parents and our 3 small children. I get so excited every time I look at the pictures!!!!

I think I read that rooms are assigned when you arrive? Is that correct? If I want to request an area how soon should I do that. I apoligize if this has been asked a million times. Also, anyone have recommendations for requests? Thanks for your patience!!

Angie

You can fax your request to 407-938-4040 or call 407-9384000. I found these numbers somewhere on this thread some time back. It' best to send your request 4 days before you are due to arrive.

Disney here we come!!! 3 more days

Please forgive me if this is posted somewhere in the 70 plus pages but I am short on time and have read until my eyes want to pop....

Do they have any other refill stations other than the food court? How much are the mugs this year? Has anyone used their AS mugs here? I have mugs from 4 different resorts and wish they were reusable.

Also, can we go into the food court in our swimwear if we are at the pool?

thanks!!!

Oh by the way we leave on May13 to the 18th. Short stay, quickly planned due to the codes they posted. Yippee!!!

People - lol - we are talking about a $10 mug that let's you have free re-fills while you are there. Don't try to re-use old ones - geeze for the $100.00 worth of rootbeer your gonna drink just buy a new Mug.

lol

I was the one who posted the question about being able to transfer my digital pictures to a CD at the Everything Pop shop.

BTW, thanks for the tip about Walgreens at DTD, $3.99 is about what it is here at Walmart (I think, I don't really need it at home with the computer)

But, I would really love to know the answer to the question about being able to do it at Pop Century, time savings and all.

thanks!

Actually, the Mugs are now 11.99 was there in Feb. and thats what I paid.;) Going in June again, might be staying in 80's this time.:p

O Tyler, where art thou?

You're the man, can a digital camera card be downloaded to disk at Pop? I'd like to know too.

If not, they should at all the resorts. With digital cameras being so popular as of late that this would be beneficial for guests. Could be one of those resort guest only perks.

that would save me from buying an additional 256MB card. Help!!! Tyler......

Great question, I would love to be able to leave my laptop at home =P

I dont recall seeing something like that at Pop... However, you might want to try the Image Labs at the Imagination Pavillion at Epcot... they might have something like that there... not sure though.

'tis finals week next week for me, so I've been (and will for the next week) be off finishing projects and stuff... that's why I haven't been around much lately...

Good luck Tyler!

(BTW it was nice to meet you a few days ago - we were the English couple that introduced ourselves by the Porte Cachere when we were checking out of Pop).

but, if anyone needs a 256 SD card, I just got a great deal at ecost.com! After the rebate, it will be $43! They have free shipping, but a $4 or so handling fee. I've never even come close to getting under $60 on this card! Shipping only took a few days too. It's a good thing, since we leave Friday! ;)

Good luck on your finals, I just took mine today!!!! One whole week with no classes before they start again.

1 1/2 days to POP!

Hi everyone,

Sorry if I'm repeating some things here, I waded through about 35 pages of this thread before I gave up and decided to ask my questions all in one place.

I still havn't totally decided on PC but I keep coming back to it... we are going for a week +/- at the end of August with our 2 year old son who LOVES Mogli and BAloo which is making me want to try out PC.

Here are my questions and again sorry if I'm repeating:

I know you can't be guaranteed a NS King Bed room, but what are the odds? It's really important to me b/c my husband is allergic to smoke and the three of us all sleep together so a double just won't cut it. :) I'm debating whether to go Moderate for this reason.

Also - I know taht the transportation is good to the parks. What about the other resorts? One thing we're thinking of is cabbing it to other resorts like Poly for the Luau, Contemporary for Chef mickey's etc. We're trying to decide if we should rent a car...does anyone know what the cab fare would be to any of those places?

Also...looking for a recommendation for a room. I'm thinking 60s so we're closer to evrything plus the Mowgli factor. Also I like that pool. Are there a good number of Kings in the 60s? The king bed is more important than what building we're in at this point.

Thanks everyone. I'm looking forward to this trip SO MUCH! It's my first time at WDW and I can't WAIT!

We used the disney transport twice while at POP. Once,we had a breakfast ps at Whispering Canyons Cafe at the W'ness Lodge. We asked on the Magic Kingdom Bus if we could be dropped off(we'd been told this is done)and the driver looked at us like we were from Mars,,but did it with no problem. Then the next day,we had a PS at Chef Mickey's for b'fast,,and same thing,,just mentioned it while boarding the MK bus,and they dropped us off,no problem. I'd double check at Guest Svcs,,they'll tell you what bus you should go on to be dropped off where,,but for us it was no problem at all.We allowed about 30 minutes, and it worked out great.

When I get the chance I am going to call Pop to see if someone working there can tell me, yes or no.

I do know for a fact there is at least one at all the parks. Does anyone know how much it costs at the parks?

thanks
