:cool1:We have 23 days to go! I, actually, am not counting down but my teens are!:rotfl:The oldest two are drowning in tests, practices for end-of-the-year shows, and try-outs (already?!) for band/dance for next year! I think they'll need the vacation more than me! LOL, not really:rolleyes1!

Same here! DD/DS have games, practice, band practice, spring concerts and state math and science tests coming up! I don't envy them! LOL Although I need a break from chauffeuring them from place to place. I am sooooo tired of driving.

I got a post card from Disney!! It has the monorail on it and a link to a personalized URL. I thought about trashing it, but when I pulled it up it had a free download for a little countdown ticker for the desktop. I downloaded it and it's CUTE!!! It's a little red suitcase with a black mickey on it, full of information for the trip. I only wanted the countdown, so this was a nice surprise. :lovestruc

According to my suitcase  I have 17 days, 14 hours and 5 minutes until we are there!! :dance3:

25 days 12 hours and 39 minutes :) i've had this for a little bit now, its been so much fun watching the minutes go by. Dcousin and I keep facebooking each other the time, our whole family thinks we're nuts! :lmao:

Hi everyone

Got our extra ME tags that I asked for yesterday.

Has anyone ever checked an empty or almost empty suitcase before?

I was thinking of checking an extra carry on bag on the trip down to put any goodies in that we get.

I have not done it myself, but I have seen other people do it. They usually put a bag in another suitcase and then take it out for the souvenirs. I think that its a great idea! :)

:lmao: You sound like us!!:rotfl2: I keep texting the time to everyone.

This thing is really cute though, and I don't have to be on the Dis to check the time left. I  it!!

I'm in the same boat as you all....track just ended for DD14 however competitive cheer practice just started back up which also includes flight classes and tumble classes. :goodvibes Not to mention DD14 just finished drivers ed and has EOC tests coming up and DD10 has EOGs coming up. This weekend we are taking DD14 to DC for her bday and then next weekend she has cheer camp all weekend. Then HS cheer tryouts start on her bday the 23rd. We end May with a quick beach trip in the RV over Memorial weekend to the beach and DD3's bday party on the 30th after we return home. Open house at the girls Allstar gym on June 4th and then FINALLY DISNEY!!!! Busy Busy Busy! :goodvibes

This is our first trip at CSR too. I'm really hoping its as beautiful as the pictures. I think we are going to try and get Casitas building 4 or 5 or somewhere in the Cabanas. I thought I saw that you had a reservation for Biergarten one of the days we were going to Epcot. We would have been there the exact same time as you but we changed our reservation for Chef de Frances :lmao: Have you ever been there? I havent but my family is German so I wanted to go but then La Hacienda was only open for dinner and I wanted to go there more so we switched things around.

I hope you have the MOST wonderful trip-it sounds much needed and deserved!

We will be at CSR 6/6-6/15, so some of our dates are overlapping. Have you ever stayed at CSR before? This will be our first trip there as a family and I'm so excited about it. In the pictures it is just beautiful  We will be requesting the Casitas bldng 4 or 5.

If you have booked a package and paid it off, you should be seeing your Mickey Mail any day now. It never hurts to call and ask about it though.

32 more days until we leave, 33 until we're THERE! (We're driving)

Need to pre-order my Photopass, was hoping they'd put a discount code out before I did though...

23 more days!!!!! We got our ME tags, Luggage Tags, itinerary, AHHH we are waaaayyy to excited. I will be celebrating my 26th birthday with DM, DD, and DSO. It is DSO (otherwise known as Tyler's) 1st visit. We are looking forward to making so many memories!

Aw, bummer, since you have to sit with other guests, we could have sat together and not been complete strangers :rotfl: Biergarten is my favorite place to eat in all of WDW!! No kidding I dream of the food there :cloud9:

I would like to try Chef's again-we did a couple of years ago and it was just so so for us. I think if I were to go back I'd order the ham and cheese it looks so yummy.

We had La Hacienda booked, but I found a Rose and Crown ADR for 7:45 so I changed it. I'm determined to see Illuminations this year.

36 more days until we board the Autotrain, bound for Florida!!! :cool1:

We'll arrive the next morning and have almost two full days to ourselves to explore before the rest of the family arrives. :lmao:

Our new plan is to perhaps head over to the Universal Parks on our arrival day, after checking into the room if it's ready. We figured we can explore and map out the place so when we take the family back two days later we'll have a good idea of where we are going. It's been 8 years since we've been to Universal and that was without the kids. :)

Thursday morning I'm thinking we hit up the MK BRIGHT AND EARLY, get in and ride a few things, then head back to our hotel for the afternoon and chill out by the pool until the rest of the family arrives. They are thinking they may want to hit a park that evening...but we'll see after a day of driving if my FIL is up for that! :lmao:

I finally ordered all of our Disney park tickets from Undercover Tourist so those should be here this week. That will include tickets for my in-laws. DH gets a great deal on 3-day P2P tickets for Universal through work, so he'll have to purchase those for us this month. :)

Can't believe by next week I'll be doing the under 30-day countdown!:woohoo::woohoo:

We hit the airport terminal 1 calender month from today. Since our flight is six hrs it might take us longer to fly then for some of you to drive.

On the way to school today we were celebrating that 4 weeks from that exact time we would be on the plane (I will be lounging by the pool 4 weeks from this moment with drink in hand :beach:)

Excellent request! I was in casitas 4 last year and loved it! 1/2 way between El Centro and the Dig Site, quiet pool (health center if you are into that thing...I never used it!) plus a short walk from the first bus stop (the buses tend to fill up as they make their way around, a problem you might find if you end up in the cabanas which is the 3rd stop)

23 days for us too!!!

On a side note I noted on the June ADR Cancellation thread that I will be cancelling Le Cellier for 2 on Sat June 4th at 12:15pm, unfortunately.

If anyone wants this PM me and we can set up a time. No one has sent me anything so far and I posted on the June Cancellation board aroun 10 am.

29 days for us!

I am pretty excited although less than I was.

I have a conference so I added days on before and after to bring my dd10 and the babysitter. The first 4 days will be awesome, but then my dd learned of a swim camp in town, so I'll be twiddling my thumbs for the last few days. What kind of kid chooses swim camp over Disney! Well our babysitter is getting the best graduation gift ever!

So here's the plan now:

6/8 arrive AKL-Kidani, --> MK, supper at Crystal Palace
6/9 Breakfast at Tusker House, AK, midday break then pm at Epcot with supper at Chefs de France
6/10 MK with lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern (if we feel like a sit down meal) Early evening with supper at Boma (I learned my lesson last time about too many late nights in a row!)
6/11 Discovery Cove (I had to move it here since it was scheduled during the camp time!)
6/12 Epcot (my conference starts in the afternoon so the babysitter will take dd back to the hotel) That evening I take her to camp.
6/13 I'm at the conference all day - the sitter is going to DHS, I believe. We're having supper at the Garden Grove.
6/14 I am taking the sitter to Sea World (see what I mean about best gift ever!)
6/15 the sitter flies home and I'll be solo! I think I'll go to US/IOA
6/16 alone again. I might finish at US/IOA
6/17 I'll pick up dd from camp and we have reservations for the Poly luau at 8 pm. I might go to AK in the morning and accumulate FPs (I know - one at a time with my own ticket) We'll see what dd wants to do - I offered her that we could go to MK for pm EMH, but right now she is saying she'll skip that since she has a swim meet on Sunday. We'll see if that discipline holds up!

I left a message for the camp that I would be delighted to chaperone any trips (and pay my own way) to the Orlando parks. They are supposed to do that in the evenings.

Oh well - we are all going (including dh and the 4 year old twins) to Disney in September, so I am not going to regret the empty time this trip. We'll see if I can hack it solo!
