There are 5 of us and now that the older two children are in their late teens I was thinking that it would be more comfortable for all of us if we had two bedrooms.
Last time we stayed in Big Pine Key and we loved it so I was wondering if there are 2 bedroomed suites situated in the outer lodges that are not club/concierge level ?
Or can you book interconnecting rooms and are they standard rooms?

There are 2-BR suites in the outer lodges; we stayed in one in Big Pine but they are CL and they are expensive! We justified the cost because there were 8 of us staying in the suite and we used the lounge every day for breakfast and 5 adults enjoyed adult beverages just about every night! Plus we were celebrating my parents' 75th birthdays so it was a special occasion.

You can request connecting rooms in any lodge and they are standard rooms. We have done this many times at the GF. Remember to request connecting if you want a door between the rooms; it is just a request, however.

Hi GF Fans! We're at the World right now and have dined at the GF several times as we always do. Absolutely fantastic dinner at Citricos last week BTW.

Anyway, yesterday there were new D&B bags at Summer Lace.....navy with white Mickeys and pink with green Mickeys. There were also new tan wristlets.

Hi GF Fans! We're at the World right now and have dined at the GF several times as we always do. Absolutely fantastic dinner at Citricos last week BTW.

Anyway, yesterday there were new D&B bags at Summer Lace.....navy with white Mickeys and pink with green Mickeys. There were also new tan wristlets.

I'm so jealous!!! I can still taste the veal shank from Citrico's when we were there in January. The new bags sound cute. Have a wonderful time and report back when you return!

I just wanted to pop back in and say that I emailed the guest feedback addressing my small issues from my stay and my dissappointment in the room view and I received a call back from a wonderful CM. I just thought everyone would like to know Disney does respond and wants to make sure that every GF guest has a perfectly magical stay!

To the poster asking about breakfast, we enjoyed Gaspirillas for breakfast most days. I've also had breakfast at 1900 and thought it was good. It was very similar to the other disney breakfast buffets IMO.

Both my son and I had the veal shank last Thursday. It is superb, isn't it? I had the cheese plate as an appetizer which was great, too.

Remember the new benches by the Cafe? There are now four of them and I do think they are an improvement over the circular seat. There is also a round table with a gorgeous floral arrangement which I don't remember in January??

Oh, and there is a new dock at the MK for the Ploynesian/GF water launch. My husband noticed that right away.

We will be at Citrico's Wednesday night!

Glad you had a good trip! Is the new dock for the GF/Poly/MK launch in the same location? I had heard that they were refurbing the dock and that it would be moved temporarily, and I've been trying to find out if the dock will be back in its usual place when we are at the GF in April. Thanks!

I did take pictures but don't have my cable with me. We're still at WDW. However, there are much better photos to be found like the one minniesota posted. That is cute, isn't it? That pattern was in the shops when we were here in January as well as the original white one.

Jackie did my hair today at the GF. Great job as always! My DH and DS2 did the free ride along for AP holders at the Speedway while I was at the GF. They had a blast.

OMG!!! I love it. I almost hate to ask the price. I have a friend going to the WL in April and asked them to go over to Summer Lace and check it out! I hope that they can get this for me. I'm afraid that they will be gone by JULY!!!

I love love love the brown one. Not that the others are not nice but the brown one would just go with everything. Any idea how much that one is running? Can you get this one at GF? I am thinking of actually calling down there and seeing if I can buy one because I dont go until Sept and Nov. By then I think they will be long gone
