), but I really think you might have an underactive thyroid! I'm not exaggerating when I say that as soon as I started on thyroxine, I dropped half a stone without even doing anything, and I can lose weight a lot more easily now. I seem to remember you saying that you got this checked out once before? If your GP won't diagnose you, it really is worth going to see a specialist private doctor. Within two years of first suspecting a thyroid problem, I am almost back to normal.
My mum (who is also hypothyroid) has a list of good thyroid doctors across the UK, so I could even recommend one if you wanted!
