How is JetBlue? What drawbacks do they have? Are they the airline that doesn't let you reserve seats when you book?

How about American Airlines??

ARG!! :furious:

We usually book with Delta, and actually have tickets on Delta for our May trip. But I am literally sitting here with my credit card in hand ready to book the tickets for our August trip. :surfweb: I was all set to book the tickets on AA, when I clicked on it and saw the price jump up $80 from just an hour ago!!! As of this moment JetBlue is $20 less, but I don't know anything about them.

Should I just wait and see if AA comes back down? This same thing happened yesterday!!! I was happy to see the prices back down this morning though, and now they're gone again! :furious:

We like JetBlue. Yes you can reserve your seats with JetBlue and they have the TV's in each seat.

Agreed. We fly JetBlue almost as much as Delta, and have been very pleased. You can choose seats when you are buying your tickets, and they have the individual TVs as well. The only drawback to Jet Blue is that they only release flights 6-9 months in advance, so for peak travel you sometimes have to have nerves of steel to play the waiting game.

If it's a price you can live with, I'd book.

ok thanks for that info! :) I don't know what airline I'm thinking of, where they don't let you book seats. :confused3

Hey Deb! :wave2: You've flown JetBlue out of Logan? All went well? :) I am such a person of habit, I hate not getting the best price from Delta and just booking with them, like I have in the past.

We flew Jet Blue out of Logan last April. Had a great experience - everything went perfectly, the flight attendants were relaxed and entertaining. Flights both ways were right on time. Doing it again this August. Would definately recommend Jet Blue!

i love jetblue
they are clean, there pices are pretty good you can pick your own seat
they have free snacks and stuff
it can all be done online

Hi there - I will be flying JetBlue out of Logan on 4/17 (28 DAYS!!) and will let you know .. I am excited to fly them -- have the TV's and Dunkin Donuts Coffee !!! Michelle

:wave2: :wave2: Hi back atcha Terry :wave2: :wave2:

yep, we switch pretty regularly between JB and Song. JB flies out of Term C at Logan, and quite frankly, every single one of their staffers I've ever had to deal with has been nothing less than delightful. Seriously. I would not hesitate to book them.

Southwest has NO seat assignments, and AirTran makes you select at the airport if you are flying on super reduced fares.

ETA--that thanks to bigsis we're flying out in 26 days on Jetblue for April vacation!!!! :goodvibes

Hi Debbie -- maybe we will see you down there !!! I will try to make sure my LIME is visible , Michelle

Michelle--sadly, we're not going to WDW (I REALLY wish we were). DS and I are flying into Ft Meyer's and spending a week with my parents. Which will be AWESOME, a week, at the beach or pool, on vacation, but it's not WDW.

Oh I see - well anyway it will a lot warmer then here !! and you won't be going commando so you will actually come home rested right?
