the age old question about memory maker

we are a group of 10 i am planning on buying memory maker
we have three reservations
four different My disney accounts

how do i know that if we separate in the park other peoples bands will allow them to drop photos into memory maker

there are some accounts that are just not memory maker accounts just members of our friends and family party they are saying they can't view your plans or photos

does this mean that they can't use memory maker? wanting to buy tonight, and not wanting any surprises once we get there

I'm sure others will have a more precise answer, but when we traveled with a group, my parents had their reservation under their own name and we connected our My Disney Experience accounts and no matter whose Magic Band was used for pictures, they ALL showed up in our memory maker. I have no idea how it all works! It's probably really creepy/Big Brother type stuff.

Everyone who is on the Friends and Family list of the person buying Memory Maker will have their pictures included. I believe that if the other members of your group have their own MDE accounts that you have to give each other permission to view photos, but I don't know how to do that.

There was a prompt in MDE to ask someone to be able to view your account. Then, the other person gets an email with the request.

ok but what about the other people who don't have accounts
everyone who has an account is connected and shows they can view and share photos and plans
the non account guests show that they can not view or share plans and photos

everyone i need is listed though in my family and friends

Everyone that is listed in your friends and family list thru your account or linked accounts can aquire photos via your purchase. Make sure the magic bands they'll be wearing are associated with the cooresponding accounts. The magic bands are used to aquire the photos on rides or regular photopass shots.

Make sure you review(not download) your photos each day via photopass website. Sometimes the ride photos don't always automatically make it to your account. If some are missing call photopass services - give them the day, time, and ride or description and they are good about finding them.

The other folks will be able to review the photos on their accounts but any editing would need to be done under your account to be included in the price of the memory maker.

ok so i purchased it earlier toinght around 8-9pm
and it didnt show up on my credit card nor did i get a confirmation email... i called disney and they gave me a number to call and check but it won't be open till tomorrow.. as it stops accepting calls at 6pm

so is this normal or is something probable wrong?

I remember initially being concerned because I could not see mine but the next day it was there!

thank you! this gives me some peace of mind! I'm assuming that since the memory maker ppl stop accepting calls then maybe orders after hours get pushed to next day.

did you get a confirmation email?

I do not remember an email, I remember signing in from work (so sometime between 9-5) and seeing it on my MDE.

I purchased it last week but did not get an email confirmation it just linked automatically to MDE right away.

In MDE at the bottom of the page it will show memory maker with your confirmation and name on the right side

ok so apparently my order never got processed i redid it today and i got a confirmation email and it was shown on my credit statement lol
and its showing up on My disney experience!

only now the my Disney experience itinerary is messing up lol
