We(my dh, 3 year old dd and 7 year old ds and I) have taken the 4 day and the 7 day so we thought we'd try the 3 day. What great weather! The sea was a little rocking the 1st night, I couldn't even have a drink with dinner but it didn't stop me from eating! Although my tummy wasn't very happy.
We zigzaged our way around the ship that evening.

There was no cold mango soup on the lunch buffet that everyone has been talking about but they had a strawberry banana soup that was delicious and so was the sesame encrusted mahi mahi!

It seemed like the ship was hardly full at all! We had an easy time seeing the characters, the pools weren't crowded and the dining rooms definately weren't either. That made for a very nice trip for those of us who were there! I do think I will stay with the 4 or 7 day cruise though since the 3 day is just too short. A word about the cabin, the other two cruises have been verandah so we were saving money and booked an inside but were upgraded (thanks Disney) to a catagory 9. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was although I think if we can we will get a verandah next time. Unfortunately the morning of departure we were awoken by awful banging sounds as they attached the conveyor belt to the ship just below our room. Wow what an early wake-up!! Nassau was fun because we got a boat over to Paradise Island and made our way to Atlantis. That was beautiful! I heard a trick from a friend that we will try next time....Book a room for the day you are in Nassau at the Comfort suites across the way from Atlantis and you get full use of all the pools and ammenities at Atlantis for less than the cost of an excursion for the whole family. How cool is that?? When are kids are a little older we are going to do that!

Castaway Cay was gorgeous although they kept getting everyone out of the water due to thunder. I finally gave up and took the kids back to the ship. My husband stayed and played the get in get out game all afternoon. The skies were sunny and bright and it was HOT. I wish the food was a little lighter there. The ribs really stuck to you but the lobster burgers were great! You are all right about the chocolate chip cookie dough frozen yogurt! YUM.

About the new show: I loved it. My husband liked it but prefers Disney Dreams. I've seen that 3 times and never tire of it. I really liked the Golden Mickeys and watched it twice(they have 3 shows, 3:30 pm, 6pm and 8:30pm) this trip to make sure I didn't miss anything. I took lots of pictures (no flash) that came out great as I was in the 2nd row center. The interviewing of the "stars" at the beginning is funny. People really started getting into it at the 2nd show. We all get to watch the red carpet interviews on the inside before the show starts. Rona interviews people as they go inside, she asks 3 basic questions.
1) Who are you?
2) who is your designer (there were some funny answers)?
3) who is your favorite character and why?
That was cute. The show is very spectacular and ends with golden confetti being dropped on your head. The cruella deville part was excellent! Too many cool things to mention and to be surprised was nice!

All in all a great trip!
