Hi,
Ok first Disneylands online booking has something seriously wrong with it. I tried calling the resort for this answer but after sitting on hold for 35 minutes I gave up.
There is a deal right now where if you purchase 3 nights/3 day hopper pass at a resort or good neighbor hotel you get two more nights and days free. So what my question is, is do those days free include two more days on the hopper pass?

the online booking doesn't recognize the deal and when I click on the deal to book it just keeps kicking me back to the dates page

Try going to www.Disneyland.com and clicking on Ticket's only. It will give you the option of purchasing a five day Park Hopper for $189.00 (the cost of a three day Park Hopper.) You can print out a voucher right away that can be exchanged at the main gate for your park hoppers!!!!

If you put in your dates with 5 nights and 5 day passes it should come up with the deal.

Check out the site Dobie listed and make sure your dates fall within the promotion periord.

My experience is that if you just use the box on the home-page it doesn't calculate your reservation with any promos...After ensuring your dates are within the promo dates (arrival dates through Sept 26) look directly below the box on the home page where you can put in your dates there is an ad: "Save with our Special Offers" click on that, then click on the "Get 2 more nights FREE" link...then "book this offer" & then put in your dates & it should apply the promo (or use the link below the 5 for 3 deal for shorter stays & you can price it out with a 40% discount). HTH

You can also go to www.getawaytoday.com to search for the different deals. Put in your dates, how many people are going and they will show you what is available. They basically show you all the hotels that are participating, including the Disney properties and the price includes the 5 for 3 deal on the hotel and the hopper passes. You can click on the "tickets" that are included to verify this. I always use them and have used them for this particular deal twice before and they have never let me down yet.

It sure does not seem to work for me. If I plug in 3 days and 3 day tickets then I try this 5/3 deal it is over $500 more for the 5/3 that sure does not seem like a deal to me? It should be the same price as 3 days and a 3 day hopper I am using the special link under the promotion and it's still $500 or more it seems like I am truly paying for the extra days not getting anything for free??

I think it's limited too. Not every room in every hotel is available for the offer, try checking on a different hotel. It will say on the screen where it 'offers' you the hotel whether it's the 5 for 3 or not. Right near where it tells you the room type.

I booked this deal at the GCH. One thing I noticed the system did was when I put in a 5 night stay, it gave me 6 day tix (you can also get 6 for 4). I had to adjust it to 5 day tix. Perhaps this is part of the reason why?

I tried everything it still makes it more expensive I too caught the 6 day ticket thing but even after changing it, it is still more expensive and sine when is the Disneyland Hotel (standard view) the most expensive of three hotels?? I thought GCH was the most expensive followed by DH then PP. It's weird to me

HI,
I booked a 5 night trip in August. It was $2111 at the Disneyland hotel with a resort/pool view for our family of 4. I just searched the site for a three night trip and came up with a quote of $1730 (I checked 6 day parkhoppers on this trip as well.). Last year when we did this deal the price was exactly the same for 3, 4, or 5 nights.

I am wondering if the difference is because they have a 40% off promotion. I am thinking that maybe you get 40% off if you don't stay for 5 nights. I don't know, it does seem like the price for 3 nights should be the same as 5, but I guess it isn't!

Keep in mind, too that GAT includes the hotel taxes AND nightly resort fees - I see in Sept. a person could stay at Paradise Pier for $175 per night for 5 nights. Amazing price, but I still can't part with that much money when you can stay off property and the amount saved per day (staying at Hojo's etc.) pays for your day's food and snacks for a family of 4.

I would love, love, love to do it but have never have done so because I just can't justify it.

Make sure you are putting your five nights in. When I was doing the deal I kept doing three nights thinking the other two would be added later. Also there was a separate deal going on at the time where if you stayed for two or more nights you got 40% off the rooms so that confused things even more. I had to have a CM straighten things out for me. The DL hotels came in around $1600 but I settled on a good neighbor for $850. I tried outside the range of the deal and it was $2k+ (cant remember exactly).

Like a PP said, if you're comparing the price between buying it separately (using just the 40% off room deal) versus the package (5 for 3 is also 40%!), the package price includes EVERYTHING, including tax. Not sure exactly how you're breaking everything down, so thought I'd throw that out there.

Also, DLH might be more expensive now because they ran out of discounted rooms for your dates. ???

We did the 5 for 3 for our upcoming stay at GCH, and it saved us over $400. Actually, we weren't even going to stay there until they ran the deal!

I think a pp mentioned it, but make sure you're choosing the dates assuming a 5 night stay. That should give you the 5 for 3 promo (I think you're doing both hotel + PH tickets?) and you can even make adjustments at the end such as adding concierge etc. before purchasing. If you look at the small print I think it states to enter it as 5 days. HTH!

You are absolutely right. If you stay 3 nights, you get 40% off. If you stay 5 nights, you get the 3 night "regular" price, which is about the same per night as the 3 @ 40% off. I think it's highly misleading. Especially considering that if you book your tickets and hotel separately, you save money. The best thing to do is to price your package as many ways as you can to find the best deal. I would never take anything at face value with Disney "specials".

Wow, now that I played around with the dates I see what you mean.
I can find different prices for 6 nights at GC depending on how I priced it.
All 6 nights, 5 and 1, 4 and 2, 3 and 3. That's just bizzare.
