The 4th+ FP Trifeca: Soarin, Test Track and Frozen

How much time are you guys spending on your phones? I hate HATE HATE having to be on my phone (we are on vacation, and besides we are trying to model proper adulting to our kids and having my nose stuck in my phone is something I try to avoid...but I digress...)

The last time we are at WDW, you could only get that 4th FP from a kiosk, so we rarely bothered, so I'm curious the level of dedication needed to really work this.

We only have one trip under our belts with MDE and I agree with you 100%. I hated being on my phone while at WDW. I kept thinking that each time my nose was in the phone that I was missing the magic around me.

While I agree with this sentiment and feel the same somewhat, I also know you do not need a ton of time to do this. Stop for a snack or bathroom break and spend a few minutes refreshing for FP. Spending a few a few minutes on my phone and save ALOT of time in line for rides. I’m ok with the balance as long as I don’t overdo it, and my family appreciates it too.

The majority of my refreshing was during the 5 minutes after scanning into a FP line during the wait or a few minutes while walking to the next ride. I can understand some people not liking it but I’m happy to do it to give the kids as many rides as I can. Even spending just a few minutes can make a big difference if you don’t want to do it constantly. Spend literally 1 minute and do 10-15 refreshes. Often a good choice will pop up even if not your first choice.

Agreed with everyone else. I didn't spend much time searching, mostly did it when in the queue for other rides, be it FP queue or standby.

Also refreshed a little on Journey into Imagination but I scored a Frozen Ever After so it was well worth it

Just wanted to say that I appreciate all of the tips on how to refresh. Looking forward to giving it a try on our next trip.
