WOW.. we are getting so much closer... I can't believe we have 164 days to go.. we had like 277 when I made the ressies..yeah..it's coming faster than I thought it could!

I decided to spend the next 2ish weeks doing a virtual trip with the kids. Since they don't know we are going it's hard to gauge what things will interest them. By doing this school project I can find out what thrills them and be prepared to do it come August! We also are doing a poll almost every day to help us in the schooling aspect of the project.

I went to your blog and voted for my favorite park- Animal Kingdom. I'm not sure why, but I always seem to have the best days at Animal Kingdom. Something about the mood there feels more relaxing or something...

WOW.. 5 months from today we will be loading the kids in the van and heading south... 5 months!! When we made these ressies we had 9 months.. 4 long wintery months have gone by much faster than i thought they could.. amazing!!! I know the next 5 will fly!

ahhhhhh 129 days.. 129 days!!! I can not believe we are slightly more than 4 months from the trip. We had 9 months when we made our ressie's.. I am not sure what happened to the time.. it went by way faster than I thought possible!

My kids still do not know.. that to me is amazing.. I think we will actually pull this off..the biggest surprise of their lives!!!128 days from this moment we pull away in the van and head south.. think we can keep the secret that many more days??

I just read your whole PTR, and I'm beyond amazed you can keep a big secret like that for this long! I'm terrible about keeping secrets especially something so exciting like Disney!

I know!! We have kept it under wraps for 171 days!! Only 106 more..and we may leave a day earlier so even less time..LOL

Joining in on your fun! Your kids are adorable. I didn't read through the whole thing yet, gotta go get some cleaning done, but didn't want to lose the TR. Good for you keeping that secret. I just couldn't do it. Cant' wait to hear about their reactions.

aww thank you.. xciting news.. we are leaving a day earlier than planned( well 5 of the 8 in our group).. waiting to call WDW and see if we can add the 18th to our existing ressie or if we are just going to get a room elswhere!

Soo.. we have decided to go on vacation a day earlier.. we are going to meet with part of our DizneyPalooza krew and spend that first day just relaxing.. which is awesome since we will both be driving straight thru from W.Mass to Orlando. We tried to add the 18th to our existing ressies but there was NO rooms..ack.. so now we are deciding where on property we are going to try..I am hoping for POR, for us we would only need 1 room as only 5 of my 8 are going early. My friends need 2 rooms though so we shall see..

So now that we are going a day early my pre- trip report is the 3881 days between Disney..." LOL..

Another step closer... Noah's girlfriend's parents paid off her portion. We had this reservation all paid off then added her so seeing that balance the last 3 months has been driving this OCD lady crazy! They gave me a check last week and I waited to be sure it cleared...then this morning I paid her off.

I am not sure her parents realize what a deal she got..LOL.. it was $390.18 to add her.. so for less than $40 a day she is eating, playing and sleeping.. sweet deal!

I am also paying down our last reservation and after tomorrow's payment ( debit card has a $500 a day limit so I need to wait til tomorrow..lol) we will owe less than $400 and my mom will owe $600..then it's on to saving gas,tips and spending money. The trip is getting so close and is starting to feel like reality now.. in a few days we will be in double digit countdown and I can just SEE it really happening now!

We are homeschoolers too - well, just my oldest - and I teach homeschoolers. Have you looked at doing any of the YES programs while you are there?

We arrive right at the end of your trip - I'll be looking out for your ginormous gathering

I looked at the YES programs but honestly..since this is my wee ones first trip.. I just want to have a relaxing ( ha ha ha) vacation..no schooling of any sort..lol next trip!

In between my day job, night job, homeschooling and keeping my home running , I've been going full steam on Disney planning!

I've printed our 20 MouseKeeping envelopes ( 1 each night for 10 nights times 2 rooms!)

Everyday has an overlook of the day with our adr numbers etc:

and a printed menu from wherever we have our ADR:

and there are lots of pockets for storing receipts and such:

I've also got the basic's of our daily guide's done ( adr numbers have been purposely blurred). These will have all parade/show times as well ( double sided) and they will be laminated:

I have 96.5 days until we start our drive.. I have so much to do still..lol..
