Returned from our 9 night stay at the BC on Sunday but things have been crazy since we returned so sorry it's taken so long to post a report.
This was our first stay at the BC and we really liked it. The proximity to Epcot and HS was fantastic. Our room was comfortable and the housekeeping did a great job. The staff I encountered were all super friendly. One guy at the BC Marketplace in particular was really nice. I missed his name but he was an older gentleman and I remember his name tag said he was from MN. Super friendly and made me laugh a lot! I saw Art but didn't get a chance to talk with him and unfortunately I missed Teena. I stopped in the lobby around noon on Monday, the 5th but there was another guy working as the greeter (not Art). I wonder if Teena may have been on a lunch break??? Very sorry I missed her.
We swam in SAB 2 days and loved every minute of it. We did the quiet pool by the Villas one night and the other quiet pool several nights. The temps were so high last week that it was nice to take a quick dip before bed to refresh. We did stop at
Walmart and bought some noodles for $2 to use in the lazy river. I am glad we did. They seemed to be much more comfortable than the rental tubes looked.
We never used the bus system since we rented a car. Walked to Epcot and took the boat to HS. One word of warning about the boat. We stayed for the last show of Fantasmic at 9:30. After the show we walked to the entrance. I stopped in one store to buy something really quick that I had seen earlier in the day and then we headed for the boat dock. Sign said that the boat service ended at 10:30. It was not yet 10:30 but the lights were off and it was closed. I panicked because I really did not want to walk back to the BC with 3 very tired kids! We went back to the bus stops and the guy there kind of grumbled about how the boat guys do their own thing and don't really abide by the rules. As we talked to him we saw a few more people go down to the dock looking for the boat. Then the boat returned to dock for the night so we ran down hoping they would transport all the people that collected. They agreed to take us all to Boardwalk but they weren't happy about it! Didn't seem very Disney like!

I would be more understanding if they had kept the service running until the posted time but they closed down early!
Only other trip negative was at MK at the end of the Halloween parade. A grown man pushed into my DS's stroller which knocked him out onto his face!! The man looked down at him and just kept on going, no sorry or concern at all! I picked up my crying, scraped up son and boy was I mad!

Luckily he was okay and recovered quickly.
Only negative I can say about BC is the lack of counter service meals. I really missed having a Captain Cooks type restaurant like the Poly has, especially being on the dining plan.
Highlight of the trip for the kids (DS 9, DD 7, & DS 4) was the Albatross Pirate Cruise. They LOVED it and they all said it was their favorite part of the whole trip. Well worth the $$!
Curious question for Teena: Is room 1602 a 2-Queen w/ Daybed room? The beds seemed smaller than Queens and the couch thing didn't really seem like a daybed, at least like the Poly and CR has. We were fine in the 2 beds, a little crowded but we were all so tired each night it didn't matter! LOL! Didn't bother us enough to spend time to ask and possibly move. Just thought for sure we'd have a 2-Q w/ DB since we had 2 adults and 3 children. My only room request was upper floor w/balcony and we got a main floor but it ended up being a good location and not a problem.
Wish I could go back soon! I highly recommend the BC!
