The 2008 American Idol Thread.....

My Dad had dreadlocks...(much to my humiliation growing up ) (he was a hippie that never grew out of it... Red hair and Freckles and all...)
When he was getting older and started getting a bald spot, he would loose them occasionally.
YOu have to think all that hair is heavy, and eventually, if enough of the hairs holding it on break, then off it comes (ick)

I thought tonight was the overall best night for the guys of the shows so far.
Danny is just a little to much for me, and although he had a decent voice, I hope he goes thursday. (along with luke... I can't believe he "stole" the song we had picke for Danny)

David A. was really good. Michael Johns was much better than last week.
I love the song that Jason C. sang. They seem to play in a poingnant moments in tv shows and movies, and every time I hear it, I wonder who sang it.
David H..... DH and I s******ed a few times while he was singing. Funny song choice considering the news of his former career. We really do like him... But come on...
Chikeze is sort of forgetable, and if he is here next week, I really hope he breaks out of the box he is in, otherwise, he can go.

Looking forward to seeing what the girls do tomorrow!

They're set to low and the band/backup singers set to high.

That is a problem every single year. The sound on this show really STINKS - band always TOO loud, back-up singers overmiked, performers always too soft. I swear, one of these days, I'm waiting for a perfomer to stop their number, look up at the soundbooth and tell them to fix the sound levels. Oh no problem (the contestant) will say...I'll WAIT.

Luke- I beginning to think this poor guy can't sing with music after all those years with the acapella group.

David A- I really disliked his version of this song, I thought it was terrible.

Danny- I have no words.

David H- Stripper boy was pretty good.

Michael- I thought he was OK, not as good as the judges thought.

David Cook- Loved it.

Jason Castro- I really liked him.

Chikezie- He was OK.

Of course I get looks when I'm driving along in my little Honda CR-V, with a scrapbookgirl and Tinkerbelle sticker and my ipod has shuffled to a Marilyn Manson or hip-hop song. I love all types of music!

lol see, people aren't surprised when i drive around blasting Manson or NIN....my bumper stickers say "Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cakehole", "Christo?" and "I am not part of your psychic friends network, use your turn signal!" so they pretty much know from just my car how i am lol. although, once in a while i have Backstreet Boys on....THAT gets me strange looks.....
