This morning, I ran out to the local ACM (with my 40% off coupon!) for a bottle of the Scotch Quick Dry adhesive Z2H and I love. We've pretty much used up our last bottle on swaps and I need more to keep going. That's REALLY all I went for.
Well...I did get my glue -- the shelf sticker said $3.99, but it rang in at 4.49...same old story with my ACM, but I didn't complain....
Because they were having a clearance on their Sizzix dies! I have a Cuttlebug, but know how to use the Sizzix dies in it - thanks to Google and YouTube.
I was going to take a picture of my haul, but SOME people may see some of these items in their Valentine's gifts, Easter baskets, etc.....
so I won't put a photo up! A huge collection of dies were marked down to between $1 and $5. I spent (gulp!) $190 on dies - the regular price would have totalled $651. (Of course, none of us would EVER pay full price for the dies...!...but my savings was 70.8% off. That's in my "too good to pass up deal" territory!) I got regular Sizzix dies, Bigz (regular and 3D ones), Sizzlits (singles, sets, and the 12" long strip ones), and Sizzix paper stacks. I also grabbed the long skinny extender plates to use on the Cuttlebug for the long die strips - they were 40% off this week. There were many many more dies and sets I didn't get that they had - couple of alpha sets, lots of Christmas and Halloween dies, paper doll types, and baby ones. (This was in Somerville, MA, if anyone sort-of-local wants to check it out.)
Ok - so I guess I'm officially off the wagon - in fact, I think the Ban Wagon ran over me! DH just thinks it is funny and wants to see what I make from them.
