The 10/9 Western cant catch a break!!!

"Meanwhile, a tropical wave in conjunction with an upper-level disturbance is firing up numerous showers and storms in the west-central Caribbean. Some development is possible over the next few days as a more favorable upper-level environment is forecast to build over the disturbance. We'll monitor the tropical disturbance as it heads for the western Caribbean and possibly into the Bay of Campeche by early next week. In the short term, this tropical activity will likely spell flooding rains for the Cayman Islands and parts of northern and central Cuba during the day on Saturday.

It's only a tropical wave and it's very strong. By the time the 10/9 cruise comes around it will be gone. I wouldn't worry about it at all if you're on the cruise, it will be gone by then. Believe me, I monitor these storms greatly as I live in southwest Florida and we're also due to take a cruise in the Southern Caribbean out of San Juan in 3 weeks, I wouldn't worry about this at all. NOAA doesn't even have this on the map to moniter.

We are also on the 10/9 Western and have been monitoring the weather very closely as we also live in Central FL. We have been right in the direct path of not one, not two but three of those dreaded hurricanes and were hoping for a relaxing break on our Western Cruise. I think we will be fine so just keep your fingers crossed.

Let's have some positive thinking here!

It's been a rough month for many of you with hurricanes making a direct hits on FL and Grand Cayman.

We're going to have a great week. The sun is going to shine every single day. We're going to Castaway Cay. Now, say that three times a day while twirling around!
